Hey all!

John at www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx was kind enough to add the ME3 Demo system reqs to the "Can you run it?" program!

Enjoy my fellow PCers!

- Cheers, Kilen

Edit: Please keep in mind that these are the reqs for the DEMO and are subject to change before the actual release of the game. Take your results with a grain of salt and keep this in mind.

Definitely time for an upgrade if anyone can't run it :) These are very low requirements.

System Requirements Lab is pretty unreliable. The devs say the requirements are pretty close to ME2's, which means my PC would just barely be able to play it. (I neeeed to build a new one.) Just going to get it for Xbox 360 for now.

A crappy horrible PC can run the game better and look better than the console versions. Lol at those peasants using the console version.

Of course I can run it.....I can run it to perfection without ever using Origin or submitting my PC to horrible things. The Xbox360 always runs its games to flawless perfection including ME3 and if I can get along with Kinect's voice recognition(which won't be an issue for most, it's just my accent) then all will be good but still there's no question that the ultimate ME3 experience is only possible on the 360.

As both a 360 and PC gamer, I am going to have to disagree here. Many current gen games look much better, run much smoother, and are much more moddable on PC. Does this mean consoles are inferior? No, it just means you can do different things on a PC than a console. However, a console does some things much better than a PC, many platform or action games play much better on consoles because of the requirement for a gamepad, it can have a much tighter online feature (XBL vs Steam for example), and is less expensive to get into.

That said, I started this series on 360, I'm finishing it there. No real motivation for two copies of the same game, espescially without Steam support.

PC is more moddable yes but not much more so....360 saves of ME2 can be modded just as much as PC games and I have modded them.....my sheps have TIM's eyes in a lighter and much brighter nuance of blue....gibbed's editor works with 360 saves. Besides that Mass Effect in general is very limited when it comes to modding so I'm not missing a great deal when it comes to ME modding. Kinect speech recognition will be a far grater gain.

If ME3 was a games for windows title that MIGHT have mattered.....at any rate I don't see Kinect and Origin ever mixing together and there's the little fact that Kinect came to PC too late to matter for ME3. The coding and development reqired is likely to be far greater than anything a patch or fan mod can do.

I still don't understand how people can own such crap PCs, I mean basically any graphics card in production now a days will do it with flying colors (talking legit card, not chip).

I ran this on my phone - it said it should be a goer.

Seriously - the requirements are so low I doubt many people are going to have an issue.

Just talking about PC flexibility and modding in general.

So you have to have kinect (have fun talking to your TV and with laggy responses when compared to pressing a button) and 30fps for the ultimate ME3 experience?

Please everyone, this is about "Can you run it?". If you own a console, then of course you can, unless you fed your console nails and glue.
