Of course I can run it.....I can run it to perfection without ever using Origin or submitting my PC to horrible things. The Xbox360 always runs its games to flawless perfection including ME3 and if I can get along with Kinect's voice recognition(which won't be an issue for most, it's just my accent) then all will be good but still there's no question that the ultimate ME3 experience is only possible on the 360.

You clearly have never played PC game.. I have an Xbox 360 and I will mainly be playing ME3 on the X360.. but man, I just got in the the whole "PC Gaming" thing and I can already say PC gaming is wayyyyy better than console. I use a wired Xbox controller (not used to mouse + keyboard yet) so really it's better in every way.

Just bought myself an Asus G74SX gaming notebook and dude, game graphics are far superior on pc, games play smoother on pc (frames per second)  and if you don't like mouse + keyboard (like me) use a wired X360 controller.. that simple. I still prefer gaming on my X360 but don't ever say console gaming is better than pc cause theres absolutely no way.. the only people who say that are people who have never played pc games... cause I used to say that too.

Console gaming > PC gaming for me. It's easy to understand why if you saw my gaming room.

My game-room setup is:

- A nice, big and luxury sofa (most important part of console-gaming, being able to play from your sofa).
- A nice 40inch full 1080p HD telivision with ambi-light (no PC monitor is that big or has ambi-light).
- A nice 5.1 dobly digital surround system (the sound is coming from every corner of the room).
- Beer within arm's reach standing on a table besides me.
- Girlfriend within arm's reach on the other side, watching me playing while hanging on the sofa next to me.
- No long installations, less bugs, always the certainty that the game will run flawless without worrying about upgrading your system or updating your drivers, no driver or hardware issues or whatsoever, just put the DVD in the console and play. Super chill.

Try to beat that with PC gaming. You can't.

You sure about that? 30 FPS to me has little jutters - 60 FPS or higher doesn't. At 60 FPS the image appears to be rock solid and stable - at 30 FPS it irritates the hell out of me.

No it doesn't.....you are talking about jitters between time intervals that are a thirtieth of a second long.....check your watch and see how long that time interval is....yeah, that is not an issue. Now if a game is poorly developed and doesn't run 30 fps consitently and has dips in frame-rate then you'll notice jitters. If the jitters are occasional...say a few seconds per minute then that is a case of inconsistent fps not of 30 fps being jittery. Mass Effect has not had visible fps inconsistencies in my experience.

".... you should be able to detect that the portion on the left (at ~60FPS) appears smoother than the portion on the right (at ~30FPS). Even if the difference is not major to your eyes, many people do notice that there is at least some difference - something which refutes the fact that human eyes cannot notice differences in smoothness at an FPS over 30"

http://www.tweakguid...Graphics_5.html

Also read a host of other places of people saying they can see a difference between 30FPS and 60FPS.

However - there are a lot of people saying they can't see a difference - so maybe its totally dependant on the individual.

fps is a matter of ego even among PC gamers....mine is bigger than yours type argument and many will go great lengths of effort to argue how great or signifficant their superiority is.....even when it isn't. Funny perks of human beings.

Really? I thought we were dicussing the perceived differences between what the human eye can see regarding FPS?

Didn't realise we were having a console vs pc debate.

My mistake. Carry on then.

What does your sound system and TV have to do with what platform you play your games on? I have a 42" 1080p, full 7.1 THX cert surround. I play PC games, Xbox 360 games, and PS3 games, all on this same setup. How are these things console exclusive?

lol so you wanna play that game eh?

-A nice, big and luxury sofa (play with a wired xbox controller so I can also play from my sofa)
-A beautiful 55 inch full 1080p HDTV using HDMI
-Also 5.1 dobly digital surround sound
-Beer is in my fridge though
-lol like the stereotype, I'm single
-Games looking fantastic with full 1080p resolution, maxed out graphics settings, perfect audio, drivers all updated, installations are quick, even less bugs, barely any load times, amazing graphics you can't get on console and computer has Blue-Ray.

EDIT: An just to be an a** no hardware issues on X360? My Xbox got RRoD twice. Still love Xbox though.

Sounds great. I get sucked into these debates so easily, because the whole argument is just so silly. I prefer to game one way, and I can afford to. For those that prefer it another way, or can't afford it, or just think it's a wast of money, great. Some people prefer to only use the PS3 because they prefer the controller. Heck, some people don't play any games that were released after the Sega Dreamcast. Good for them. Games are fun. Who cares?

Just discovered the old blank .bik trick to cut all the load times on the PC version of ME2 down to nothing, that's making things really nice.

I won't ever start fights.. I play prob 70% Xbox, 30% PC (that'll prob change soon though Image IPB). But when people start dissing PC with stupid reasons that I can dismiss.. I will

..and I was simply pointing out that just because you can't perceive a difference between 30FPS and 60FPS - doesn't mean everyone sees no difference. Hell, when I bought my TV, my girlfriend couldn't see a difference between any of the ones we looked at, it took me fifteen minutes to rank them in order of image stability.

Dead set serious - 30FPS Irks me. I feel like I'm watching a flip strip cartoon I used to draw on the corners of my maths books in school. If it doesn't bother you, great! But it really irks me.

Hahahahaha.....someone brought bluray up....that's a cookie. Bluray is nothing more than storage like a USB or any other storage device, the only difference is size....anything that runs without disc change is equal as long as there's no quality loss. The 360 version of ME2 had a disc change every 15 to 20 hours of gameplay but that really didn't matter to me. As for PC not having issues, well.....who are we kidding. DRM is a huge pain causing problem among many PC gamers even here on these very forums...just read the novels written by PC gamers on Origin. There are no similar issues in consoles. Then I haven't even mentioned spyware among other problems exclusive to the PC.

1. Don't think so.

2. Graphics are nearly the same between console and PC for most games. Only a very few games actually look significantly better on PC. Mass Effect 3 isn't one of them.

3. PS3 also has Blue-Ray (I have all 3 consoles so) and  Mass Effect doesn't even ship on Blue-Ray, unless you get the PS3 version. The PC and Xbox360 version are both on DVD.

Besides, even though you COULD indeed use your PC in your living-room or luxury gaming-room outfitted with a nice sofa, I know most of you don't because most of you don't use their PC solely for gaming. Or are you saying you actually do your business and mailing from your sofa as well? I can hardly believe that's comfortable.

I think I'm over 90% PC, but the 360 and the PS3 sit there just in case I want to play something on them. I think basically my 360 is an Assassin's Creed machine, and my PS3 is an Uncharted machine. But any game I can get on the PC day one I will.

The other things about these arguments that always makes me laugh is the idea that PC games guarantee crashes and bugs. I cannot remember the last time I saw a major bug in any game. And my 360 will hang completely on me twice a month. But that's impossible, right?

It's all the same. Games are games. They are fun. Let's all play some.

1. Uploading a picture now.

2. That's a flat out lie. You clearly haven't played on a next to perfect gaming computer because almost every single game now days is better.. FYI console games hardware is 6 years old!! How can that compete with a brand new computer parts in terms of performance.

3. I was talking about Blue-Ray movies.

4. It's a computer.. if I don't want to use my TV... I unplug it. I also have multiple computers.

1. What?

2. This is such a dumb argument. The hardware in the 360 is many years old at this point. The games are not true HD, and they look terrible compared to a top of the line PC. But again, why is this important? If I get 1% better graphics, and it cost my $1200, isn't that my choice?

3. Don't care?

4. I have 5 computers in my apartment. They are really not that expensive nowadays.

Why is it some important to you to feel like you are better somehow? How others choose to spend their time and money is their business. Not once would I ever tell you to game any different then you do. It's your life. Let us have ours?

That is true.. I haven't had problems with my slim either. Like I said I'm 70% Xbox 30% PC in terms of gaming but I can still admit PC gaming is better... that doesn't mean consoles are trash.. I play my X360 everyday!

I don't think you'll have anything to worry about - GTX 460 smacks down 9800GT.
