Elder Scrolls - all of them.
The Witcher 1.
NWN 2.
That's about it.
Yeah, I had to choose more than one.

PS:T. It was good, but it wasn't as good as people claim it was.
I'm going to put you in a spaceship and send you into the sun for saying that!

To be fair Fallout 3 is bad.

I guess you hate all RPGs then, cause if d&d was never created you wouldn't have any of this.MrDizaztar wrote...
How about the father of all RPG's. You know what I am talking about Dungeons & Dragons.
I'll say Diablo. Because of It's popularity, you have all these mindless action RPGs, instead of real ones.

One man's trash is another man's treasure after all, and who are any of us to decide which is which for everyone else?

Obviously, because of the impact it had on RPGs. Otherwise, who cares ?Seagloom wrote...
I don't get this thread. Why would I want to eliminate an RPG from existence? Because I personally dislike it, or the impact it had on a hobby? So what. I could find fans for any game mentioned in this thread. A game may be a minor thing in the grand scheme of most peoples' lives, but if it can bring someone a small measure of joy, no matter how fleeting, I consider that a good thing.

I do? The first two sentences in my previous post were misleading. Of course I understand the idea behind this thread. I just find it impressively selfish to presume my personal tastes should influence a genre beloved by millions. I do not care if anyone else wants to share their chosen game. It is their right to. Just as I felt it was my right to criticize the entire concept as indulgent. Then again this is the Off Topic forum. Everything here is indulgent.

Dragon Age 2. It split the fandom and has all but sucked out any interest I had in the franchise. I know I'm not alone.
^This.
One of the few games I've ever played that when I was done, I really wish I hadn't spent the money or time on. Just felt pointless story wise and dampened my outlook on future DA and BioWare games.

I don't make my dislike of a game personal to its fans, but the fact that you do just proves my point.Upsettingshorts wrote...
