Really I can't think of any. Just because I don't enjoy something doesn't mean it is without merit. Means it just isn't for me. No reason to wish it didn't exist.

Stupid question is stupid.
I think he's generalising. I do it too. I don't like the Elder Scrolls fans because personally I find them immature, childish and they troll far to often. But ofcourse, there are ALOT of Elder Scrolls fans who don't do the latter.

You can also say DA fans are 40 yr olds living in there mother's basement or bored pregnant women. Of course I'm only kidding. lol ......but no fanbase is as bad as MW3. I can't even play with a mic on.
i really like skyrim, it really showed rpgs dont have to be action rpgs to be successful. I played through DA 5 times, DA2 1 and Skyrim, I'm on my 2nd playthrough
i cant really say i would delete a rpg from existence, because people learn from mistakes

If someone loves the actual story of PS:T, that's great. I won't argue against anyone's enjoyment of a particular good story. It was certainly a fun way to preset a story and a unique way to tell a great story.
The rest of PS:T, as a video game, was crap. Crap. I would love to blow it that game out of time. That way people would stop pointing to it as a great game. It was not.
Thats it you're crazy

What we are left with are games that cater to our specific focus. PS:T focused on traditional RPG storytelling. I am a traditional pen and paper RPG lore hound. So, for me, that worked, and made PS:T the best game yet for me. For you, not so much. Thats it really.
Indeed. Planescape: Torment falls short because of what I consider an ideal RPG to claim the top spot. Black Isle made good use of the Planescape setting; which I adore. Although Torment ignored lore and changed things around in places. Still, it was hardly the hack job Baldur's Gate II was in the lore department. It also had my favorite NPC to appear in an RPG thus far: Fall-From-Grace. I definitely think highly of the game. Just not best RPG EVAH high.

By that I would have eliminated the entire TES series. One shot all-kill.

I would probably eliminate Diablo. And I actually enjoyed the first Diablo when it came out.

Wish I hadn't now.
Yeah, I'd eliminate Gothic 4.
The problems with Gothic 4?
Terrible voice acting (the witch made me want to kill myself just due to her bad voice acting, that must be how Satan sounds like!)
Terrible combat (heavens! The camera becomes completely horrible when you auto lock and your character only attacks like four times before pausing and why does everyone have these power attacks?)
The camera (it's so horrible in and out of combat).
The world (from what the demo displays, the world is very barren with plenty of invisible walls and barriers).
The dialogue (cheesy and horrible. I go and speak to some blacksmith and the nameless shepherd greets him in which the blacksmith replies "I'm worried about a warship...a maltian warship?" which doesn't make sense considering the fact that my guy only said "Hello" to him and why is he asking the shepherd a question about a warship? What would a shepherd know about warships?).

Great minds think alike, I was about to post this.
I would enjoy it if Facebook winked out of existence - even moreso than DA2.
Mass Effect I am conflicted about - they make a fine adventure series for what it is, but I still harbour the feeling that this Not An RPG is somewhere at the top of the slippery slope DA2 is on.
In all of these cases I'm assuming they are erased from time and nobody would know. I would not have anything disapear if folks would know they had gone.

No, I'm demonstrating why the question is stupid.
The only reason anyone could want to ban an RPG from existence would be to eliminate its influence on the genre. Simply removing a game or franchise does nothing further beyond deprive those who enjoyed it from experiencing it, so unless spite and malice are the underlying motivations, I'm going to go with elimination of genre influence as the only justifiable motivation to take such a position, even rhetorically.
The problem is "influence on the genre" is just another way of expressing fan/customer support for a particular model or feature set being included in future games in the franchise or indeed being spread to other franchises. So anyone who says they want to remove Dragon Age 2, for example, is really saying they want anyone who liked DA2 (including both developers and customers) to go away and stop - by their presence in the market and/or preference for certain things - influence game design/writing. My response cuts through such shallow pretensions to impersonality that Addai attempts to affect in a transparently casual assumption of having occupied the high ground, where she probably thinks everyone who disliked Dragon Age 2 have righteously set up an exclusive, permanent residence.

Just because it's got more of an action feel than your traditional RPG doesn't mean it's bad. I though it was amazing and the customization and the alignment was the icing on the cake.
