Ok, so I don't know if a topic for this has been made yet, but I was watching a video interview with Freddie Prince Jr who plays James Vega in ME3, and look who shows up in the trailer having a meeting of sorts with Shepard.

Looks like it's been husk-ified. Watch the blue light emanate from it's mouth in the trailer.

Hopefully, she'll be in a good mood and willing to help against the Reapers. If anybody knows how to wage large scale interstellar war, it's the Rachni.

The Ranchi Queen eyes were already blue in ME 1. I notice when I let her free.

The Rachni queen cant be indocrinated and as for being turned into a husk thats almost an impossibility seeing as the queen will and as as we can see underground and will be surrounded by (millions) of rachni seeing as the queen is the most important thing to a colony I doubt they will get close to her also the eyes dont seem blue but black and we dont know anything about rachni queens as she was young when you first found her its possible its what a mature queen looks like

Theoretically the queen (a different queen mind you) can exist in a renegade playthrough. Remember that Russian scientist said they found a ship with rachni eggs onboard. I don't think he ever said they took all of the eggs (doesn't seem to be the case seeing as they only had the one queen and no more) so those other queen eggs still exist.

There is also the side misison where you wipe out the Rachni on the outer planets.

I'd love to see that come into play in ME3.

If you have a larger image you can see...

...that there is indeed a blue tint to the glow.  Not to mention a lot of blue and purple coloration in general.  Brood

Males are similarly colored, but with both a deeper purple to the body and more blue to the eyes:

The queen was among those eggs.

the queen is the most important thing every single rachni will give its life to protect her because without her the nest will die (no more offspring) so to huskifiy her you whould need to fight through the entire nest  which whould not be an easy thing to do

I don't think you need to necessarily huskify the queen to turn the drones into husks.

It would certainly help though.

You know it could just be the very dark lighting that is making her look a lot more intimidating. One of the things I've noticed from these Mass Effect 3 screenshots is how the lighting is usually terribly dark.

I'm sure we'll be able to influence whether or not the Queen gets indoctrinated/huskified.

I know iam just saying that the odds of the queen becoming a husk is really low a drone on the other hand sure but really who cares as long as the queen is okay there will be millions more to replace it

I could have sworn that scientist (with his funky broken English :P ) said they "found rachni ship full of eggs" and didn't specify that it was a queen egg among rachni soldier eggs?

I just watched this:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSMcNQgJYz0&t=3m16s

All he says is "Binary Helix found an egg" "This was Rachni ship. Inside they find many eggs cryogenic suspension."
