Sometimes a little genocide is necessary.
I don't know. I don't want to get into philosophy. I used to think the same way a long time ago. But what I can agree with is sometimes massive loss of life can be necessary. For example people thought Stalin was brutal for sending millions of troops to the Eastern front. But is was necessary to drive off the German's back to Berlin and that was the Soviet Unions only option. And on another note I think Western Society has made Stalin to villainy

It truly is debatable what is and isn't genocide. And I agree that isn't genocide but, it could be seen as that way but, that is necessary I'm sure I speak for everyone that we need to stop and get rid of the Reapers.

Also. Looking at that picture. That is not an indoctrinated Rachni. It's not a machine look. It looks like her origional look but with a great improvement to texture. Chitinous plating along some of her body parts and beak. Carapacing on parts of her body and legs. Things found in real life bugs but on a much bigger scale.
And all I am going to say is... Too much about that leaked script is source from a source type crap... Not the origional leaked script. and on top of that many get their information from a double translated bullet point list. We can't be sure what was happening. But Knowing Bioware. don't think that just because you fight rachni that your choice didn't matter. Or that just because you save a rachni queen that the rachni you face are necessarily from that Queen. Or that just because her species was once extinct that all Rachni are allied with her or under her control...

I got to say. I kept the Queen alive. I don't regret it. and i have a feeling that Bioware isn't going to make me regret that decision. Now other ones I have a feeling they will and I will live with that.

This seems likely. The Rachni Queen that we saw was pretty young as well. It is feasible in the past few years she has matured somewhat and her appearance has changed.
We could be facing a situation where there is a faction of indoctrinated Rachni and the Queen's faction of free Rachni. They could possibly cancel each other out or maybe there could be missions to "rescue" the indocrtrinated faction. Perhaps the Queen's song could straighten out their sour one.

There is also the side misison where you wipe out the Rachni on the outer planets.
I'd love to see that come into play in ME3.
.........Wait what?!

In lay mans terms. Genocide is the "the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group. Though what constitutes enough of a part to qualify as genocide has been subject to much debate by legal scholars.
Thank you Wikipedia
Thats were I agree.

There were a couple of missions where you took out 'soured' rachni. One was you holding a small base with a few alliance soldiers against a few waves of Rachni.
Was really good - kind of a hidden side quest, I think I missed it my first few playthroughs.

Well not really hidden. After every one of the main planets, one or two additional star systems popped up on the galaxy map. The one with the Rachni sub quests appeared after Noveria (and one with Thorian creepers after Feros). The problem was that ME1 had no way to tell the player what systems and planets he had already visited, so if you didn't pay attention, you could miss those additional systems easily.

So if the rachni in ME 3 end up going the wrong way I will fix the problem permeantly but until then I will give them a second chance and if they stay true to their promise and the turians etc try to turn on the rachni they will live to regret it same goes with other races.

Weren't they related to Cerberus making its own rachni so the rachni husks we may face could be Cerberus
