If you save the Rachni queen, she gets indoctrinated. If you killed her, the Reapers find another queen and indoctrinate her.

DECISIONS MATTER

SPOILERS
If the script is still true, she didn't get indoctrinated. The Reapers huskified her. You can save her but it comes at a cost. If you killed her then they make a machine that produces rachni husk.

Ok, so I don't know if a topic for this has been made yet, but I was watching a video interview with Freddie Prince Jr who plays James Vega in ME3, and look who shows up in the trailer having a meeting of sorts with Shepard.

The Rachni Queen! And boy has she gotten big.

Reminds me of the scene with the crawler in Gears of War 1. I smell "boss fight" all over that screenshot.

Weren't they related to Cerberus making its own rachni so the rachni husks we may face could be Cerberus

Thinking that the Reapers know a lot about genetics and biology in general. I think they could be clones.

Well I killed that bug in ME1. Guess I'll just have to kill another one.

If I have to fight the Rachni in ME3 then so be it. Never the less, I stand by my decision to free her. But if she has gone dark side, then why did she give me that message on Ilium?

Now let me get this striaght. The Reapers knew Shepherd had save the Rachni Queen. The Reapers then attacked the Rachni's new home, kills them all, and huskified the queen. Then the huskified queen makes gruesome newborn husks. If that's the case, then we're f***ed.

If Shep and Co. could take down the Thorian, a Thresher Maw, and a Human Reaper on foot, I don't see how a huskified Rachni Queen could possibly be any harder.
I am confident that she won't be evil, anyway. At no point has it been stated that the leaked scripts are final.

And if she is really beyond hope? Well, some nuclear Cain-brand bugspray should clear things up nicely...

Where are people getting ideas that she has been indoctrinated of turned into a husk!!! The leak script isn't reliable anymore because people are getting all sorts of information.

Actually, there've been a lot of quotes that have been word for word.....so with that, I'd urge anyone reading this to go on black out if you really haven't done that yet.

Just by saying that its true doesn't mean its true. What I'm getting at is that people who have read the script may think they are reading the right one, but theirs to many of them out their on the net and some of them aren't exactly true. So people are just going to sound like a bunch of conspiracy theorist.

Okay I got to admit being able to legimately save a huskified Rachni Queen sounds really awesome.

Argh I just don't want to sacrifice a krogan (or the entire species) for the Rachni.  For me its like choosing between LI #1 and LI #2 when both have their own unique character traits that make them awesome.

I think Bioware has listen to the community and has fixed or changed this part. But if the leak is still true she doesn't fight you. Something else kills her.

The script is very large but from what I remember you basically either use that cost or you abandon her and allow her to die. Though you do fight through rachni husk to meet her. Or maybe I'm confusing myself with the cost.

I love that shot of Shepard standing in front of the rachni queen. Reminds me of that scene when Ripley first met the alien queen.

My view regarding the Rachni is this:

If the Queen was killed

The Reapers create a construct based on Rachni DNA to produce Husk Rachni.

The Reapers would have got the DNA from either the Peak 15 labs, Cerberus or Sovereign when he indoctrinated the species during the Rachni Wars.

When you reach it the only option is to kill it.

If the Queen was spared

The Reaper capture the Queen and huskify her new offspring.

When you reach her you have the option of either killing her or freeing her to aid in the war with what is left of her army after they captured her.

Remember her telepathy has far range, when she was captured doesn't mean her colony was all with her. She could of been captured when she was moving to another world.

Regarding the leak script
We don't know which script it is, it could be just the first draft of the story also from what I heard it doesn't include the effect of DLC, Paragon/Renegade Choices and what impact completed assignments in ME3 will have.

So don't worry too much about what is in the leak script. :D
