I am slightly less irked by Vega now. He will grow on me as I am dodging bullets with him, I am sure

This is just hilariously bad. They should've asked someone Hispanic a question or two about the dialogue, or his voice actor considering he's Hispanic as well. The only people who use Lola or Lolo are people well into their forties since its practically a dead term. It's almost like having any American (is America still the same at this point in ME?) saying groovy. It's so far gone that no one today in their thirties would use it, let alone in the 2180's. Also his character model matches someone from the northern end of South America of the carribean not towards the southern end of S. America where the term is used.

Also excessive nicknaming sounds like it'll get real old real quick, but I like Freddie Prinze enough that I'll use him quite a bit. For lucky, since I tend to like human squaddies more.

You shouldn't be surprised if James says groovy. I mean hello, he's voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.

You bring up a good point, Fred does say groovy quite a bit. But if he and Ashley do a "jinkiies!" joke I'm turning off my console and writing a letter to someone.

Ashley's far more of a Daphne than a Velma. So it would likely be "jeepers!" instead.

HARBY: AND I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT, TOO, IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR YOU MEDDLING KIDS!

I would *totally* love it if Vega went John Crichton with the nicknames.

Believe it or not, me too.

*looks at avatar* :D

Personally, I think the nicknaming gives both him and the game a lot of personality.

Okay, I vote for two names then-

1. Chimicherrychonga
2. Daphne

Opportunity for an in-universe Garrus "Calibrations" Vakkarian joke? I think so.

We're discussing if James should give Ash the nickname of Chimicherrychonga.

I support this.

That's too easy. They wouldn't get Fred to call the dog Scooby, would they?

Chimicherrychoga is a bit too long, though. We need nicknames that can be snapped out at a moment's notice!

Shepard: "Garrus, shift left! Take out that sniper!"
Garrus: "Yessir."
Shepard: "Husks on our right! Chimicherrychoga, cover that side!"
Vega: "...No."
