I thought of it when I recently got ninjamanced by Ashley, even with having plans on Miranda.

Do you think a ME1-2 romance change will have any effect on the romance you choose for ME3?...Or will it be a one-of-a-kind conversation where you pick one and that's it?

Any "cheated on" romances will take note of the "cheating" in ME3. AFAIK, it's just a bit of dialogue.

Yes, that's kinda what I am asking... if the cheating will have an impact on the romance itself, or if it will just be a bit of extra dialogue to break up with one.

Poorly, IMO.
The whole relationship angle was handled poorly if Bioware plans on penalizing you for "cheating" on a LI who wouldn't join you in your mission.

From the leaked script, I do know your ME1 romance could be genuinely hurt, though I'm sure it's different depending on who you romance. (I only saw Kaidan dialogue about Jacob.)

That's what I mean. I think they should have worked it so you LI from ME1 could have gone with you in ME2 to carry on the romance if they wanted to nail you for "cheating."

In my mind, Ash dumped me on Horizon. I have every right to pursue Tali or Miranda.

Now, she's gonna show up in ME3 and be mad that I moved on. Yes, I moved on. I didn't cheat.

Ash told me she moved on. I did as well, as she said it'd been 2 years, a lot can change.
