But concentrating on aesthetics alone - I'd say new "screenchot" is the best, seconded by ME1 look.

ME1 look was more about "naive Liara" - pink lips, light eye colour, lighter skin tone. I'd say I like it most for majority of lighting schemes - Noveria port, for example, - but some of lighting wildly accentuated pink "eyeshadows", which gave sick impression. Liara in Mercenary armor holds "the best looking Liara ever" title, though.

ME2 vanilla look almost copied ME1 look, with the exception of skin tone which looked even more greyish. Don't know why, but this looked worse than ME1 to me.

ME2 LotSB - and Liara has fallen in blue dye barrel. Deep blue eyes, blue freckles, dark blue lips. I still can't get how character can change irises colour (aside from idea that poor Liara stuck on Therum while wearing eye lens and, hence, couldn't pull them out later or that she put intimidating lens on while chasing Shadow Broker). Her lip colour was also questionable - is that natural and then asari tend to have lips wildly different in colour with skin? I can understand fascination with lipstick then - not all women look normally with lipstick radically different in brightness with their skin, and Liara definitely isn't such asari. If it's lipstick, then I can understand its "I'm serious here!" effect, but it looks to dark for me to match skin colour.

ME3 look from new screenshot is more about "mature Liara who lost a lot", and I like how skin colour works with irises colour and purple lipstick. Need to see other light conditions, though - "been through a lot" look will be hit with train if one of them will accentuate freckles, for example.

I don't mind Liara's look, I hear blue and no hair is all the rage with the Asari.

Don't forget, its quite easy to change eye colors, skin pigments, etc etc in the ME world.

So Liara looking different can be justified quite easily.

I think what I like most about that image(and appearance) is the eyelashes really bring out the color of her eyes.

Sometimes I don't pay much attention to minute details such as these, but occasionally I notice and I appreciate the detail put in.

She sounds matured, which is good. Same VA, so they probably told her to put a different inflection in her voice for later installments.

Not sure about maturity and all that. Not for an argue sake - just interest expressed in first question, nothing else.

Only thing that bothers me with the "new" Liara is the fact that the belts on her costume are only textures and not modeled on. It looks really bad when viewed at high resolution.

I liked her look in LoTSB the most. But they definitely channeled that in ME3 so I'm cool.
