I'd like her new look even more if they had given her something other an a glass mask on her face! People are wearing full head enclosures and she's sporting around in an oxygen mask like she's the Galaxy Queen and has no need of such things.. Biotic/kinect field explanations are just bunk. It's fine for ships but not people. Put on a damn helmet! Or if she is going with the glass look, at least make it cover her whole head.
She's an alien. Of course her skin and survive exposure to hazard environments.
Tali isn't an asari.
do you guys like Liara new look?

But is canon as needing a suit for 90% of everything.
Is Garrus in that same boat?

Ok ok, how about we just find another thorian and turn her green? Would that be enough "make up" for her?
IMHO best decision here - just allow gamers to "customize" look of the teammates. And Shepard too. Not from damned scratch, just to correct a little that sharp chin sort of thing. Or skin tone. Or something like that. But returning to teammates - I can't see any harm (other than weird pranks) if gamers will be allowed to change Liara/Miranda/Ashley/Kelly/Jack (well, maybe NOT Jack) makeup of a sort. Just to prevent situations like this - someone likes pink lips, someone blue, etc. Changing suits is rather dull and useless, till those suits not provide some bonuses like armor swapping in ME1. That includes putting full-face helmets and pressure suits/hardsuits for open space/dangerous environment mission. Make it optional - who wants realism, let them put suits, who don't give a damn, let them use default piece of gear. I don't think that will be THAT hard since we had most of it in ME1. Games are about fun, and limitations like these only spoil everything.
Like I said - IMHO, of course. My deepest apologies if my words offended someone.

Anyways, you get what I mean, right? Aliens are stereotyped into being ok despiter exposed to space, or alien environments?
Not really, not by anyone with even a vague understanding of organic life.
Mass Effect is as grounded as science fiction can be. You can't plant a seed of truth within things of the game that are only theoretical to us and then ignore some of the most basic rules of life.
Really bad, old movies are hardly a good measuring stick.

Yet, we got breather masks, and Turains, Humans, Asari, and Batarians breath the same air, and exposed to the same environments, unharmed. Plant life is the same on multiple plants. Same with fish.

'Alien' life is not all the same. For example life on mars would be different from life on venus. Because there are different conditions. Life develops on the circumstances given that allow it to develop. So a planet may be hazardous to humans but not to the life forms existing there. And the other way round. In truth humans are as alien as any species. It is a matter of point of view. Being human yourself, of course, you would not consider yourself alien.TMA LIVE wrote...

i have to wonder if aliens would actually catch other aliens diseases. i liked the allergy explanation which Tali gave. the dextro-bacteria and viruses would probably not work on normal DNA, but could possibly on other races of the same DNA, and vice versa.
anyway they should wear helmets and breather around aliens all the time imo just to prevent diseases crossing over and becoming viable in said aliens, except that players might complain about never seeing Shep's face!!

It looks like 'facial expressions gone bad'. Bioware is obviously still trying to get facial expressions right and still fail at it at times.Calibrationmaster wrote...

I'm talking about finding palm trees and grass on multiple worlds. Despite that they should be exclusive to Earth.

You mean all of those strange shadows that probably only make her look like that for the one frame of animation?
That first pic is just Liara performing " Teach your children to worship the one humans call Satan and his Reaper minions" with her black metal band on Thessia.
