Tallis customization - anyone wonder about the lack of it?

Everyone else earns them as the game progresses, so why doesn't Tallis?
I've also noticed she doesn't have the better weapon buffs, such as +1 to all attributes. Since you cannot switch out her weapons, she needs some extra buffs.

Perhaps, but they did leave it open for her to return, but did you notice that when you bring up her inventory that she has armor slots that are completely empty? Not difficult to fill them in, they could have used the code for it that was used for Bethany and Carver's armor slots, which filled up while they were away.Tashash wrote...
Because Tallis is only connected to the Mark of the Assassin DLC, I would think the developers didn't want to waste time/money/effort on a character who is only in the game for a very short period of time.
Also it would be nice if you could have an enchantment vendor to put something in those empty armor slots.

I agree. What I did was place the best amulets and rings into storage, then I put them into my inventory just before starting MotA.sylvanaerie wrote...
my problem with Tallis is she starts off so freaking weak yet we are forced to have her with us the entire time we are in MotA (or else drop her completely at the end and be one man down). She died so much my characters had to 'babysit her' when she was with them.
That was the best I could do to help keep her going.
I also noticed she can't use grenades or tar bombs properly...weird, considering sh'es a rogue character. If she tries to use either item, they explode around her instead of the enemy NPC.

I like the playthrough of it all, but not the character Tallis at all. She looked "too human" to be an elf and she was too emotionally passionate about the Qun when they are to hold a certain pride and dignity about it in a more regal like way. Now sure, I appreciate the lore aspect of it all, but not how they had Tallis come to discussing about it all. Honestly, Sten from DA:O brought it out better and it was more understandable with what little he provided to the Warden as well as the Arishok. Sure, I love to see more in this aspect of storyline, gameplay, challenges, and lore of DA brought out, but PLEASE, not the elf!
P.S. Great work on how Fenris spoke more of how he knew about the Qun the way he did. Need more storyline on him as there is a lot more you can do with that character hands down! I mean come on,.. a slave in the Tevinter Imperium.. what better way to come across information among the magisters and malificarum and their involvments with the Qunari? Bloody Brilliant! =D

I usually just let Tallis die and summoned Dog to take her place.
