That doesn't make any sense.. Are they trying to force us to hate the council?

I'm really getting a good war story feeling from this news i have been getting the past week. I can't wait for it to come out. OP thank you very much for the news but do you mind putting a spoiler warning on the title for other people?

This is officially published information. Do I really need a spoiler warning for that?

Since it contains spoilers, yes.

Who ever liked Council?

Besides, they didn't said anything about Council.

Just Citadel population.

I'm liking the idea of Reaper controlled space. Maybe there will be some physical indication of that on the galaxy map.. just like how the darkspawn taint got progressively bigger in Origins

The Council is perfectly aware of the situation (The Council's homeworld(s) are/is being attacked by the Reapers after all) it's the Citadel's population that remains ignorant. That is, until a certain point in the game.

I think it is a shame that there is no 'Reapers Win' scenario. As undesireable it may be for a player to achieve it may have been fun to see and it at least makes you feel like there was actually a threat from the Reapers. Oh well. I hope at least, unlike the suicide mission, there is no perfect ending where you save everyone and everything.

Still doesn't make sense considering they are still cleaning up the mess Sovereign caused. They should all be quite aware what it means if a Reaper comes to the Citadel. Actually I would take the first ship to a remote planet and try to hide from the Reapers instead of sitting on the Citadel and waiting for the Reapers to come. I somehow hope blowing up the Citadel is also an option for Shepard.

Yes there is. The "Reapers win" scenario is when you were completely ill prepared for the final struggle agianst the Reapers. BOOM! Everyone dead. This is considered a bad ending in ME3.

(15) Casey Hudson is quoted as saying that it is "a good idea to stick to your principles" with regard to your style of action, i.e. Paragon/Renegade. And I hoped we wouldn't be railroaded onto one path this time.... Though the context suggests that this might be NPC-specific, i.e. you should stick to your principles with regard to decisions affecting one character or species. I would like some clarification on this.

By the force please no more "You can't take this renegade action because you haven't been renegade enough in the past" situations...

(2) At the start, people on the Citadel will believe that the war isn't their problem. This will drastically change in the course of the story.

*Sigh* Everyone on the citadel, including the council, is expendable in my book anyway...

The sad truth, is that it´s a game, so it just counts and checks what you have done, haven´t done and how.
So it´s probably just a slideshow-ending. Hopefully not, though.

I doubt the Turians believe that since you know they are getting curb stomped also.

(10) If old team members are dead, different things may happen depending
on the character. Sometimes a story arc will be completely lost,
sometimes there will be a replacement character, sometimes the story
will develop in a totally different way.

This worries me,a lot.Becuase, well,Tali,Grunt,Jack and Jacob died on my save.

Can't say for sure, but I think the "completely lost" wouldn't apply to major team members. I can see it working that way with Zaeed or Kasumi but not others. Also this may apply to potential meetings with minor NPCs from the first two games. It would make sense not to have replacement characters or alternative story arcs in case they're dead.

The Reaper-controlled territory will be color-coded. In red, IIRC.

So....how do you know better than the people at GameStar that there will be such an ending? Realistically, there would be of course, but it appears to me that they haven't implemented this beyond a game over screen you might get when dying on a mission.

I would've liked a scenario where Shepard notices they haven't got a chance and all they can do is try to warn the next cycle. But sadly, that's not to be.

If the council tries and white washes earth being attacked by a fleet of ships that nearly killed them i hope the Vanguard gets a special option to biotic charge the council and slap 'em silly
