btw, I have a thing for green-haired (fictional) girls.
Maybe because they're fairly rare beasts.

Music is fantastic... the same who guy composed to Gurren Lagann, Katanagatari, Jormungand, Persona: Trinity Soul and others...
And why not recommend Katanagatari? I think it fits the bill, though is a bit more expanding on genres - it transcends and gives commentaries rather than following a strict routes of anime devices.
And yet is awesome!
Also, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. It has loads of interesting stuff going on, including some superpowerish mythology to it.

So Some Geth, how do you feel about Obito being miraculously saved by Madara due to him conveniently falling into his lair? One Piece was crazy though, Doflamingo is a pimp.

Obito: I need an adult!
Madara: I am an adult.
Everything is so f**king convenient in Naruto. So, the battle took place only few meters away from Madara, and for some reason, Obito didn't die and his body managed to slip away from the rock. Yeah, right...
Goes to show that Kishi didn't really have the story planned out far ahead. He's just making sh!t up as he goes and uses coincidences conveniently.
And Madara spouts some philosophical jargan, how the world should only have "winners" and "peace" and blablablablabla. Obito has the right idea though: if I was trapped in a room with a crazy old man babbling endlessly equipped with a scythe and attached to a statue, I'd want to get the hell out of there too.
Naruto is still a mess and at this point it can't be fixed.
One Piece on the other hand, this whole arc has been great with everything.
And you are right he is a pimp. The maid with the weapon powers looks cool too.

My friend still can't wrap his mind around the fact that Obito survived, and now the convenience of him fighting next to Madara's lair will make his rant even more lulz worthy. Kishimoto has to end the story sometime soon because it's a mess.(E.g. like the Bloody Mist Era timeline with Kisame meeting Obito/Madara who controlled the 3rd Mizukage who is responsible for the policies that led to bloodline users like haku's mom being killed, and the exam that led to Zabuza killing 100 examinees as a 6 year old.)Some Geth wrote...

Bleach on the otherhand has been tolerable evr since Yamamoto was given the focus.
In One Piece that the maid chick might be Law's groupie, plus Doflamingo has reached legendary tier pimp status.

@Some Geth. I'm loving the way Naruto has been going. And I thought one of Madaras zetsu found him. How could he have dug him out of the rubble and provided medical treatment in his condition? I think that might be explained (or at least insinuated to) next chapter. Obito's flashback still isn't over.
