As for Naruto... from what I've seen, it just looks like the majority see some sort of depth that isn't there. I like it so far, even though I've pointed out some silly things it does. But it's nothing to sh*t rainbows about.

 

The final arc is where the asspulls really started getting to me personally, before that I was mostly willing to go with it.

 

Too much: X is being controlled by Y who is controlling Z who is controlling O and so on and so forth. Combine that with Sasukes flimsy ass excuses to keep making the wrong choice and you have a recipe for a bad ending. It got to a point where I was half expecting them to fly into space and start firing lasers at each other.

I know this is off topic, but I figured that since I and most of my friends on these forums frequent this topic most I would go ahead and post here. My laptop blue screened, I was stupid and thought that it might be able to run SWTOR like it used to before its overheating issues got really bad, SWTOR forced it to do an emergency shut down and when I powered it back up it blue screened and I had to do a system repair to get this far. After the system repair completed it did its start up music/tone and I sat there for somewhere between two to five minutes staring at a black screen before I could even log on my computer's user account. 

 

Google Chrome then wouldn't load no matter what I did, so then I had to bring up the default browser (Internet Explorer, ew) and re-install Chrome. My computer is also really hot at the moment, so I wouldn't be surprised if it blew up. Due to all of this, I have a strong suspicion that this might be the last time it will work, I am thankful that I got to at least back up my important files poorly written fan fiction and to tell you goodbye.

 

If this is the end of my laptop, then it will be a long while before I can get another computer (definitely going for a desktop this time around). I love you guys and gals, I've had lots of fun talking with you on here. 

 

TL;DR: My laptop is reaching critical levels and I'll have to go away for a while if it self destructs. Love you!

The attention Itachi gets is deserved to a point. People calling Sasuke the best character in Naruto is a real head scratcher though. And by extension, liking Sakura. How can someone like Sakura?

Good choice. Very good choice. The first 3 episodes are alright, but the first really good one is the 4th IMO.

Been watching the second half of the second season. It hasn't been quite as good as the first season overall, but it's still great. These kind of show never seem to generate much discussion though. Probably too different from the typical anime fare. Or maybe I just don't hang out in the right places.

Not that I care much about anime discussions anyway. I mostly keep to myself and just lurk around to see if anyone mentions something that would suit my tastes.

 

 

It has a very surreal atmosphere. It's hard to describe it.

It's a collection of stories about people and their encounters with the mushishi, which are often tragic. Mushishi themselves are all over the place, seemingly having utterly random attributes (ghost? Solid? plant? animal? virus? bacteria?) and are sometimes pure nightmare fuel.

 

Not a happy story overall.

Bakemonogatari and Nekomonogatari are alright.

 

The one where the service goes REALLY overboard is Nisemonogatari. In terms of plot and development, I consider it the worst of the 3 too.

...

But it also has the LEGENDARY toothbrush scene.

That one scene almost makes all of it worth it.

About the same for me. I thought Shippuden was pretty solid (for the most part) until about the end of the Five Kage Summit Arc. From then on, I just lost complete interest.

I started watching it last night, it kinda reminds me of Princess Mononoke. At least the art style and setting anyway. I think the music really compliments the show. Watching it is very relaxing I thought.

Will not stop finding it so very amusing that Sibyl are the name given too so many brains. Of all things, it's human brains they went with! Ah well, it's hardly like I actually care that much what Sibyl is. Just that it's stupid. Wanting to add Shogo to the bunch makes perfect sense though, he's an anomaly, something unknown and therefore his set of values and views are vital for Sibyl to not stagnate and become completely worthless.

Akane keeps growing on me and while she will still infuriate me every now and then I'm far more in approval of her now than before. She's growing and developing rather nicely and her way of dealing with the situation with Kogami, brilliant and really fast thinking.

Finally got around to Oda Nobuna no Yabou. Kinda digging the artstyle and setting, and the characters look fun.

 

Also, fell in love with Nobuna the moment she showed up.

 

It's pretty good, though you will be endlessly disappointed ...

This weeks Chaika episode was decent. The show got a lot of potential but it just fall just short of realising it on far too many occasions, still not ever going to regret watching the show. At least this episode had some pretty nice mentions of something that happened in the first season!

Can't decide if I should watch Psycho Pass season 2 first or the extended season 1. I'm leaning towards going with the extended version of season 1 as a quick refresher and to get it out of the way and then moving to season 2.
