So wait now shi!tty dubs are why we can't have nice things!?
I am really lost now.
It would help if you read what I typed.
@Puddi
I've explained like 3 times now. It's really not that hard to get. I'll try again:
I'm bias and my standards are not objectively reasonable.
Why you keep bending over backwords to understand that is beyond me. It's basically me saying: you're right, but I'm too stubborn to care. Normally you'd think the conversation would end there but apparently I have to keep restating it.
I can point to many outside factors that are completely independent of the original work that can effect my opinion of something: Hype, my personal mood, parodies (which I already stated and you ignored to focus on another point) ect. that I don't expect others to agree with and are hardly objective, but those are still things that can effect me to a varying degree. Not all of these points effect me the same, nor is the effect of how much it bothers me or not the same, but those are still my personal feelings, regardless of whether you feel it is stupid or not (and I'd like to point out there are others in this thread who happen to agree with me on this point so obviously I'm not the only one)
I don't always care about objectivity when I judge something because sometimes you still enjoy something even when you know aspects of it are bad (take my conversation with Geth about Gantz for example, where I admitted I thought the plot was bad, but I still managed to enjoy it as a mindless action flick) or dislike something you know is not that bad (S;G for example where I stated the hype effected my overall opinion) I at least try to be honest about why I like or dislike something, and I admit I'm not always the best at explaining myself, but it's a bit frustrating when someone calls your opinions stupid without actually tackling the point of why you felt that way.
In this case I'm a raging fanboy. That's my reasoning. is that really so complicated?
