Psycho-Pass was a show that I didn't pick up entierly without any hesitation. After two season of GitS I wanted to watch something very different and Psycho-Pass isn't that super different but different enough for me to not feel any fatigue during any part of the show. Decided to watch the show to it's end an evening earlier than planned and that's a very good sign of how well I liked it. That Gen Urobuchi was part of the creative team obviously meant that it would be written by the same person that has been involved in some of my favorite shows to date and Psycho-Pass can absolutely be counted towards that bunch. I could repeat and say it's a shame I didn't watch it earlier but at the same time this was the perfect moment for me to watch it. It got my undivided attention and performed well above expectations. Psycho-Pass got a wonderful art style in addition to overall very good animation. Can't say that anything ever detracted from the experience in that department. The soundtrack of the show was good but not one of the shows strong points but yet again it didn't detract from the experience and by the end of the show a few tracks had started to become very memorable and they all felt like the fit with the show.
The story of Psycho-Pass is very, very good and I'll only touch on this very briefly because it's incredibly hard to avoid going into serious spoiler territory so I'll just say that it's very good and that it were barely any moments where I felt it did do anything weird or that something didn't fit that well. Now to the characters and they are something. Akane is a great protagonist and I went with one very interesting ride through the show and my opinion of her and her actions constantly fluctuated and really only started to become stable towards the end. She got traits that will drive me insane but she got far more traits and beliefs that I feel are great and they make her a very interesting person in a very interesting world that I'm kinda happy that I don't live in. The other characters in the show are more or less all good and how good they are do depend on how much we get to interact with them so the amazing Kogami will absolutely stick with me and most of the other people in the first division will do the same and maybe only one character can I say that I really don't care about at all but the show would suffer without him. Not to mention that the antagonist of the show is one of my favorite parts of Psycho-Pass. He was actually very interesting to follow!
Psycho-Pass, yeah it's a show that I could watch a few times over and recommend even more.
Now I'll probably wait until the second season is complete, while I'd love to get up to speed I just can't fit another show into my life right now!

Akane and Ko where a fantastic duo.

Mmmm Ko!

My problem with Mika is unlike Akane in the first season when she was naive, she showed she wanted to change, she researched and talked. Mika is not doing that. She's simply spouting nonsense, insulting Gino, going behind Akane and not researching what happen last year that changed the team. Plus she has shown to be a massive hypocrite. She thinks she's right and Akane is a fool. So yeah I hope she dies soon.
We can only hope so.

Night anime thread. Glad it's almost the weekend.
So I gave Jo-Jo and Starlight Crusaders a try. Meh.
I liked the previous (gin-san vide, fighting the fabulous Cars) Jo-Jo better. He was funnier, this one is a a brooding wannabe bad boy.
It seems like there is less posing, but the crazy is there.
The enemies and powers are all over the place. Raging from "the most redicolous power ever" to "overpowered as S*** but still looses because of BS strategy"
And yes, some of the strategies and battles run on pure stupid and are convoluted as hell (read: impossible to the max).
For example:
All in all, medicore.

I'd have to agree most anime figurines seem pretty cool to me, same with posters, all that, I just never get around to actually getting anything...
It seems like a fun way to show your passion for anime.

They were making a theatrical Gundam Seed film where Kira, Athrun and Shinn would all be a part of ZAFT. The writer got cancer and the put it on hold, I doubt it is still happening because its been about 4-6 years without word on it.
I'm going to cry now.
*Sobs while screaming Lunamaria*
Finished Oda Nobunaga no Yabou.
Well I enjoyed it quite much! I loved the setting, the characters, the humor and the battles. Shame it is only 12 episodes long, and yeah I doubt there will be a second season. But ah well, gonna get the light novels when I have the chance!
Hmm, unsure what to watch next. Might go with Toradora.
*sigh* Another Friday has come and is lacking something important.
What's that?
I'm still trying to get over the loss of KLK on Thursdays
JooooooooooJooooooooooooooooo
I'm still trying to get over the loss of.. nothing yet! Wooooo!
Though after this season is over I'll have a big hole on sundays! No worry about saturdays though since there's always something for me on those days!
With PP done I'm really looking after something different and I'm at least for this time around trying to avoid going after another very well acclaimed show or the ones that more often than not get mentioned here, they will have their time!
Might go with Shiki, Zetsuen No Tempest, Kyoukai no Kanata or Claymore

What to watch.. oh yeah counted the list again, 136 this time
Rah just had to post a lovely pic of Chelsea.

If you wanted more Chelsea you'd only have to ask! ![]()

Kyoukai no Kanata is good if you ignore the glasses fetish, the siscon and the terrible idol episode that I'm still trying to bleach out of my memory.
This weeks Amagi Brilliant Park was as usual rather awesome. The show know what it want to achieve and it does it very well, that and the characters are rather entertaining aswell so it's very hard to not be entertained

It's going to run for 13 episodes and todays was the 5th episode
