So, Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis is definately a keeper.

 

I've also just read that Zankyou no Terror has its music made by Yoko Kanno (and done by the same animators as aforementioned anime, which is a good thing so far). That alone is sufficient to get me interested. Anyone here who watches that anime and can give a recommendation?

 

Zankyou was great. I'd absolutely recommend it. MAPPA has been doing excellent work these last two seasons, between Bahamut, Garo, and Zankyou. Oh, and Yoko Kanno does some of her best work on Zankyou. Some of those tracks man...

I'm so upset that Galactica stopped scanlating the manga for this. I'd read the LNs, but since they're subbed by /a/nons (albeit ones that really love the series) and reading is for nerds, I may never see what happens next.

Is not just Yoko Kanno. It's Yoko Kanno and Shinichiro Watanabe, the same composer and director who worked together on Cowboy Bebop. So yes, it's good.

Watching the anime, I can tell people are probably shipping Eren X Misaka and Arwin X Annie. Eren X Misaka cant happen because well..Theyre siblings. Sure Misaka is adopted but still..Siblings. Personally I think Eren will end up by himself because his powers are basically The Hulk's. If he got "excited" during loveydovey time, he might rip his future girlfriend in half.

 

Im not sure where the Armin X Annie can go..Considering what happens to Annie in the end. It would be sweet though if this ship becomes canon. It might be what convinces Annie to "play nice".

 

Do you guys know any cool anime I could pick up thats in 2013-2014?

Well I enjoyed it very much! I was funny (I even lol'd out for real at several instances), cool characters, good stories IMHO, and the animation grew on me. Mostly enjoyed it for the humor which was right in my alley, but cool that the show could be serious as well.
