Good, since as I've mentioned before, both shows leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to the world and overall lore, and I am more interested in the past histories of the Grail War, further involvement and internal / external conflicts of the Church and the three families, its magical workings and such.
Naturally I am also interested in the characters the most in addition with the branching narrative, but you have spoken quite highly of F/SN so I am confident it will deliver.
Don't worry, Chew. You are in for a treat. I guarantee it 
As for Dante / Archer, I've played both the VN and all of the DMC games, and personally Archer kick's Dante ass as a character. In battle it is debatable, but that is an argument for kids.

Liked him as Zidane, Red and young Vash.
Didn't care for him as Naegi and Komaeda tho.
Don't care about Eren.
Loved him as SAO's lead main character main protagonist Kirito.
And I have never ever watched the SAO dub.
That's how good he was!
