He does that when you least expect it. It's kind of creepy. XD

Anyone looking forward to Neon Genesis 3.0?
Yuss!
Hope it comes to the theaters here. Nothing is more epic than Rebuild Evas on the big screen.

Rurouni Kenshin is not that good.
Blasphemer! Heretic! Don't make me go all Petrice on you!
Seriously though, I still find it as awesome as when I first got into it years ago.
It will carefully depict things like Okubo Toshimichi and his assassination, then turn around and have wacky X-Men inspired fodder villains the size of houses who spit fire.
That and there are better samurai series out there.

L's death took a good portion of my interest away. I couldnt even find the show as interesting because near and mello were little brats and annoying.

I would not understand that position. The show does have a conclusion and whether you like it or not, it won't be insulting to you as a fan.
SPOILER!! I for one loved Death Note the more for L's death - but that aside, even if I didn't, I would definitely watch the series until the ending.

Aah, I thought you were taking the advice of that someone who suggested you to "finish watching it" prior to the show's actual ending. My bad.
Nope, I finished it the other day. I definitely enjoyed it. Earlier I was mentioning how I understand why some fans felt the show went on longer than it needed to. I didn't like it as much after you know who passed on. But the show did keep me into it throughout.

Now it makes sense.
Episode 15 is hilarious, well at least the beginning was.

"That someone?" Will you be calling me "he who shall not be named" next?

Replacing a major character like that in the middle of the series wasn't the best writing strategy if you ask me. Really ticked me off how that show ended.

I couldn't agree more, though I was actually rooting for Light. Having Near and Mellow expose him just felt wrong.

I respect your opinion Ero. However, I wish to this day that someone had given me the same advice that I gave Raging_Bull. I would have been much happier leaving that anime thinking
*SPOILER*
that Light had won after L died. I would even have been happier even if L had been the one to catch him (though he did set it into motion). And I wanted Light to get away with it.
And I didn't find it insulting as a fan, I would describe the experience more like distasteful. It was like reaching the bottom of a bowl of a particularly good batch of cherries, only to bite down on a rotting one at the very end.
I loved the show (I love Caska more, and Winri... mmmm together?) but I did not care for the end. It was a situation where I would have preferred head cannon.

I like Revy, Haruko Haruhara, Re-l and Pino more.
But like it or not, it's good to have seen and evaluated the end first-hand, unlike how thou-who-shalt-not-be-named jested.

I liked how it ended. I just wish Near would have been replaced with he-who-shouldn't-be -named.

His plans/gambits were convoluted anyway and there was too much lucky breaks for him for me to take him seriously at the end anymore.
