Anyway this is for whoever wrote earlier today that they had caught up with Mushishi (can't be bothered to dig up the post at this point)i: Add Kino's Journey to your list. Unless you've already seen it of course. It's more philosophical than Mushishi, and nowhere near as pretty-looking, but overall I'd say it's just as good. Maybe even better. Those 2 shows also have a bunch of things in common. And with just 13 episodes, it's not going to eat up too much time.

So just trust me, and watch Kino's Journey. And don't be fooled by the childish look. Or be fooled, but keep watching anyway.

Probably not, and its shame since the Disappearance was a masterpiece. I remember reading this an article about a while back. Its here http://www.animenews...show/2013-09-08. I recommend reading the comments as well since they give more insight of the Kyoto Ani and Haruhi situation. Ths article here is also a good read http://ultimatemegax...k-of-haruhi-s3/.

Ive been thinking about why some people prefer Erens japanese voice over the dubbed english eren voice. Listening to the Japanese Eren, he sounds like a stereotype, hot-blooded, gangster character, with a pronounced gnarl in his voice. While Eren's english voice has more stage theatre method to it than gnarling out every word. You guys are just used to and like this stereotype voicing for Japanese anime. I really prefer the actual acting going on behind the english dub.

 

EDIT: Although I admit, Hanji Zoe's voice fits her better in the Japanese version. In the manga, she/he is androgenous and the Japanese voice over really plays to that perfectly. The way the japanese voice actress pitches her voice and the deeper vocal afflections here and there really make him/her sound like either gender. I havent heard this kind of androgenous voice acting since the english voice work for Libra in Fire Emblem: Awakening.
