I've finally dived back into anime proper, after a very, very large excursion to JRPGs(where I still am, I'm just dividing my time better.)

For instance, I will be caught up with Chaika by the end of the weekend, and quite possibly take a large chunk out of Stiens;Gate before the next Chaika is out.

I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet, but in order to graduate from new guy in this thread, you have to film yourself singing the Excel Saga opening and post it for everyone to see. This was decided unanimously a good while ago and we all went through it. Just dig through the whole thread if you're curious, you'll find it eventually.

If you don't want to show your face, you're allowed to wear a horsemask, but only if you dress up as Excel, Hyatt or Lord Ilpalazzo.

So I just watched Madoka Magica Rebellion the movie.

 

I loved it. It took some time before the show got on the road but man that soundtrack and those battles were fantastic. I also ended up liking some characters a lot more in the movie than I did back in the show.

 

And in those last 25 minutes my eyes were just glued to the screen even moreso than before. 

 

Of course that might be my because my favorite Madoka Magica character is

 

 

 

But seriously anyone who has watched the anime Madoka magica should watch the rebellion movie. It's really good!
