[The Love Runner]

Guess when I start the AGK anime, I'll stop a couple episodes before the point you guys reached and keep an eye out for the manga.

I always forget the Newtype stuff I know pretty much how it works I just don't give a crap about it much.

 

Yeah I forgot about what happened in Unicorn. Here I was thinking a non-Newtype could just, I don't know, fly around and stuff in a Sazabi just without the use of Newtype magic funnels. Guess not.

 

And yeah I have seen Unicorn (I watch everything ever) and like parts of it and dislike parts of it. Those parts being the Tomino Gundam-isms. lol

 

Always wanted something before CCA to show why Char went nutso.

 

And yeah again screw power level discussions! The 8th MS Team had their characters take down Zakus without having to use Mobile Suits! The 8th MS Team 4ever! Newtypes 4never!

 

But yes Judau is the next and final step in evolution.

 

 

Also having Franky's voice.

 

But he should have done it with Haman. I guess even perfect Newtypes can't be perfect.

 

 

With you on liking those Mobile Suits.

 

And yeah Sandrock and Deathscythe are cool too.

 

God Gundam is another favorite.

I still have yet to 'get into' anime. Maybe if i spend enough time here it will change me. Highly doubt it though. years in the other forums hasn't changed me yet.

I never understood this "Get into Anime" thing.

 

I watch whatever sounds interesting to me, regardless of its country of origin. This is merely a place to discuss more specific shows.

There is a significant barrier for some because of preconceptions or lack of knowledge.

I just use the term as a catch all for when I've been a lazy ass and haven't been watching what I want.

I think that the reason Char went nutso is that he saw nearly everyone that he knew die in the Gryps Conflict, he also saw Kamille as the full realization of Newtypes, but then Kamille got mind-screwed by Scirocco's psychic mind attack and ended up handicapped, this was the final straw for Char as Kamille was the last bit of brightness in the universe he could see. He also grew impatient with the newtype evolution and felt it was taking too long, so he sought to achieve his lifelong goal of getting everyone's newtype potential unlocked by speeding up evolution by forcing everyone to go into space. It has been hinted that was his personal lifelong goal especially when he tried to talk everyone into leaving Earth for space in Zeta Gundam during his Dakar Speech.

Only got the last episode of Barakamon left and do I feel like I really missed out big time this summer by not going with this one instead of a few other shows

Barakamon really is one excellent SoL anime with great slices of comedy added into the mix. It's a show where small things matter, everyday life matter and the people around you really do matter and I'm by no means going to say the show changed my life but some good food for thought was supplied and maybe I'll appreciate a thing or two more. Either way Barakamon is a fun and relaxing watch and a show I can recommend for just those reasons!

Sure but I would have loved more development.

 

I mean coming to the idea of throwing giant asteroids at Earth and making nuclear winters on it to force that change is not an idea you get everyday.

 

Also it's stupid. lol
