Just watched the 12 episodes of Aldonah Zero.

As usual, the hypercompetent kids get the spotlight...I was more interested in the other characters, the counts, the commadner, the ex-tank commander, etc..

The main character is a Marty Sue level genius. He also an emotionless git. No personality.

Aslo the tired "winning you over by kidness overdoes" trope

With the redicolous differences in tech, you'd wonder how Earth wasn't taken over 20 times over. And how no one else noticed the obvious gaps in shielding.

Ending was unexpected. The last fight felt like something out of a game, a Boss fight

Suppose I actually can vouch that this is kinda true. You are the one after all that did recommend Squid Girl to me. The invader is much pleased about that!

Hmm well the thing is it didn't seem anyone had Mami has #1, which didn't really surprise me, for instance.

 

I never really thought about them because as very distinct in this sense as they're all kind of together there, but then I did.

 

Anyone else notice how popular the one sentence per point per paragraph thing is going on all the time?

I think that the Cosmic era is done, I feel that if we were going to hear something about it, it would have been when they were doing/finishing the HD remakes of Seed and Seed Destiny.

Went and watched GitS: Solid State Society. It was good to have bit more GitS after a decent break from it and the movie itself wasn't bad at all. It was just right for what I wanted and dealt with some fairly interesting topics and issues just I grew used to.
