I heard some cool songs off the OST though, so there's that. It looks kind of like Elfen Lied on some sort of sedative.

Its a fun watch, I enjoyed it. Yuno is pretty much the greatest, and I thought Number 9 was pretty cool.

Anyway. Mirai Nikki, I forced myself through School Days. I haven't been able too with Mirai Nikki. It just can't dig its claws into me. Since my re-emergence into anime 1 year ago it's the only show I haven't been able to watch start to finish.
Aside from the Justice guy and Yuno, Mirai Nikki would be unwatchably boring for me, and it already is pretty much.
I watched the dub (been doing that more often lately). I can see how the Japanese VAs voice can be a bit grating

Can't argue with taste. For me it's the other way round, dubs usually make me cringe.

I played the VN and watched the ending of the anime (for the lolz)...its really not a very good series.
That is nothing.
Now completing the 10 hours version, that is only something true veterans can pull of.

Yeah, I agree. Some times it really doesn't work, but if its at all passable, I find I get more out of it when I'm 100% watching, and not trying to follow subs.
For example, the Fate/Zero dub is great, but I can't watch most of PMMM dubbed as its pretty cringeworthy. However, even that dub has a few moments that I think surpass the original.
It's awful.
But I did it for an IRL friend...before I poured a slushie on him after I watched it.
They definitely deserved it lol. A definite not recommended unless you really have nothing else to watch.

Eh, it's not that bad.
I'm sure you can find a lot worse.
Thing is, it's pretty damn entertaining if nothing else.
But I suppose it depends. It's surprising to hear anybody say it was boring to the point that you couldn't watch it.
Which is fine, of course.
Give it a shot if you want to. But then again, you can find better anime.

Though Geth says go for the manga, he's not wrong. But the anime skips this totally useless arc and adds nice extras in the end. It also adds more of a focus to the main romance which was totally lacking in the manga.
...Or Tiger & Bunny.
It's been weeks and no one has watched it yet. You all disappoint me

To be honest though, my anime time will be cut in half if DA:I turns out to be any good.

I barely have time to watch 1 anime right now (just started Shin Sekai Yori) and with DA:I coming out I don't know how I'm going to balance anything. And this is not counting the 6 or so VNs I've have had on my to do list for months now.
Is it bad I'm a regular on a Bioware forum and I constantly forget DAI is a thing?

Anyway, on Shin Sekai Yori. Good choice. An excellent anime!

As for Shin Sekai Yori, I found the synopsis fascinating, and after 3 episodes I'm pretty much hooked.
