I'm kinda concerned that we are several episodes in and Shirou hasn't shown even a speck of projection ability.
They better have a DAMN GOOD explanation how he can become so awesome so fast. Something like Archer teaching him or giving him his powers. Because UBW all takes place over a couple of days...getting from "worst mage ever" to "overpowered projection master" in a few days is BULLs****

Damn they actually did have a picture of Lunamaria/Meyrin incest.
And even a fanfiction about it... In which I just read. I feel my sanity fleeing.
*Promptly blows brains out with shotgun*
@Lotion
UBW VN spoilers

They had to change some of the names because Americans would get offended. (For example, the Deathscythe Hell was never sold in stores because it could offend people) and thus some Gundams were renamed (God Gundam -> Burning Gundam).
However, G-Gundam I don't care about. It's more like an offense to the Gundam franchise, like brave battle warriors was.
Now as for your giant fleet...
Strike Freedom in full burst mode could take out the ships and aircraft with ease. Take the double X Gundam and use the satellite cannon freely to wipe out any ship, regardless. The cannon is more than powerful enough to wipe out an entire space colony with a single hit.
As for the giant machine, if it's unshielded then the Double X could aim straight for the cockpit and let loose. The Strike Freedom has variable Phase Shift armor, meaning conventional weapons are useless... for a time. Lasers would still harm the machine easily.
If your machine had a power core then I'd hit it or slice my way in.
I have a far smaller size and thus have more maneuverability.
It really depends on the skills of the pilots. Gundams were designed to be the most powerful machine in existence. And yes, the Nu Gundam could probably push that thing, but the PF would have to agree with you on that one.
There's only one other machine I know of that will utterly destroy a Gundam, hands down, and I cannot remember it's name. Also beware that Gundams were meant to be realistic, not magical.

So halfway through Monogatari and it's definitely my favourite season so far. This last arc

Gundams vs. SDF-1?
http://www.youtube.c...5VM1r2xAk#t=403
lol
that thing has super-sized aircraft carriers for forearms. Aside from a metric crapton of various weapons, it's loaded with complement of normal mecha and these:
Also beware that Gundams were meant to be realistic, not magical.
Any mecha that has a power output greater than things 100 times it's size and never have problem with heat (despite fireing uber-laz0rs of doom) are by definition not realistic.
Ironically, SDF Macross mecha are among the most realistic ones out there. The only thing that's off is missile capacity. But it's like bullets in action movies.
I know how that is. I've only taken 2 days off all year. One for an anime convention and one to move.I envy you kids. You can skip school.
Skipping work is harder, cause you need those damn paycheck for more animu.

I mean good day thread! ![]()
I really liked the silhouette puppet things. I think I know which one you're talking about but I'd have to go back and check..
Speaking of crazy... remember that one time where Utena turned into a car and let Anthy drive her?
Err can't say I remember that part... there were a lot of car shenanigans though that I remember such as Akio flipping over the front, and all the various other... randomness. Akio was such a bizzare character, I feel like until he showed up the anime was almost in second gear or something.
There were so many one-off things it's hard to keep track I feel like I had settled into having the shadow puppets just be about recaps and then wham, out of left field it's this super macabre thing. I think it's one of the later episodes... it was like having this dark friend in a dark time and so it's all kind of blurry.
However, I distinctly recall things like the Blackrose situation which you mentioned as well as the part right before the ending ending with the coffin and all that, very surreal imagery, kind of intense emotionally also.
All in all, it definitely leaves an impression.
