Bebop's narrative has the exact same structure.

 

And they're similar in many ways.

 

For example. How each character has been dragged down by their past and has to face it to find new resolution in their lives. It's also about life, with partings and meetings and each episode reflects on that.

 

Hell, Chris can give a better response than I ever could. I'm about as eloquent as a constipated bear.

 

I admit that Bebop is better. That goes without saying.

 

But whatever. Samurai Champloo is a freaking classic.

 

This is why I have my doubts that you'll actually appreciate Madoka Magica for just how deep it is.
