Is it still an ongoing series? If it is then i'll give up on the anime and switch to the manga.

It is still ongoing.

It was in WSJ for 5 years but then it was put in Jump Square, so now it's a monthly series.

Dragon's Dogma is pretty amazing. I played quite a bit of that the last time I had some time off in August. I like the whole Pawn system.

It is a little on the grindy side, but truth be told, I like that too!

Another thing that was really cool about Dragon's Dogma is that one of the character pre-builds looks just like Gattsu from Berserk. /nerdgasm

I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore manga/anime fan. I own maybe 6 or 7 animes on dvd. I find that with anime you have to sift through a lot of garbage to find something really good.

As popular as he is, Miyazaki never disappoints me. 

Anyway, the one series I really got into was Berserk. If you haven't seen it before and you're into very creepy/dark anime - it's the one for you.

Also, does the aeon flux series count as an anime? I love that one. Had to own it, honestly.

I am still watching FMA: Brotherhood. I do really like it but I can't help but feel like I am treading through a lot of familiar territory.

It veers more from the original later in the series right?

Though, I can't complain about more Winri Rockbell. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a love for power tools! Sounds like heaven to me.

Ferris's and Ryner's were especially sad imho. But they are all rly sad.

OMG YUS! You can have Guts' and Griffith's armor AND weapons in Dragon's Dogma. It's Guts' first sword though, not Dragon Slayer, but it's still awesome.
