Mmm it's hard to boil an anime down to score overall when they have so many highs and lows without really going into which aspects stood out.

Dead Leaves is basically the definition of a drug inspired anime if there ever was one. It's pretty obscure I think. You're the first person I've known to even mention it.

The 6 hour queues on launch certainly didn't help. But yes, DL awful, if not unique, but still awful, definitely without a doubt drug inspired.

I can't really form an opinion for sure on Warlords just yet. Talador was pretty amazing and crazy and yet the very next zone some guys all "I'm being assaulted by bees! Help!" I'm like really?

So far I've only managed to do SMV, which is one of the best zones they've ever made imo, and Gorgrond which I liked since the whole kind of jungle zones work well with my rogue.

 

Also I assume these bees are like 50x the size of a normal bee?

Well the bees that were attacking the guy were pretty normal if I remember correctly. At any rate, Gorgrond was pretty spiffy at times also, very zany and weird. I know Chris Metzen is a fan of Conan the Barbarian so I think it's basically a hybrid between Dr. Strange and like Conan the Barbarian.

 

SMV I cheated and watched some of the cinematics and yeah... pretty epic... Yrel is rocking, just not sure how the full arc of her story is gonna go.

 

Basically this is my reaction to each new zone.

finished the first episode of PMMM and currently watching the 2nd episode. This is actually a pretty decent anime. Its cheerful but the production team obviously put a lot of love into it. I mean, one of the little girl characters in the show summoned a wall of giant guns and shot the crap out of somebody. It has hints of adult themes which I like. Its cute and badass at the same time. I gotta hand it to you guys, I wouldve passed over this anime if you didnt drag me through the mud and made me watch it.

So I finished tiger and bunny. It's a brilliant show but hard to review. I guess a good description is that it's tonally similar to kill la kill but with superheroes.

I don't have the habit to watch anime online, but I can't seem to find much Valkyria Chronicles.
