I was fan-girling like hell during that scene, especially since I was initially afraid the writers would botch him, but they seemed to have done a capable job at keeping him competent and proactive (though in comparison, the Grey Wardens seems to be a bunch of idiots). Well more will tell. But yes, very pleased he has an active role in the game.

Naruto can be really dumb sometimes, but this part was totally awesome.

 

 

If anything, I just love choreography in anime fights and Naruto does it all the time so yay.

I just thought it weird since it seems so popular within the anime fandom.

Normally that wouldn't be a problem but when that is the only thing a show has going for itself I tend to ignore it.

Sure, humans are flawed and aren't immune to incompetence. Plenty of great figures have done their fair share of bad moves / choices, but it also comes down to reasoning behind the whole situation and whether said character / group tried to amend for it.

 

But I am not in a position to judge yet, so it will clarify for me as I proceed with the game.

Nah, this is from the main parts before Kishimoto forgot she was a character.

 

In this arc she was probably one of the most useful ones.

 

Until Kishimoto forgot about how that poison works.

 

Shippuden has been a mixed bag of really f*cking stupid stuff, cool stuff and then some really nice moments and well as more stupid stuff.

 

I would agree. It tends to be all over the place. It's not bad, but I don't "love" it I guess.

Just addressing the overall length it has at this point. Seems a little excessive in my mind. Also, was never really good with distinguishing all the different branches and organizations that are in it. Naruto even had a little bit of trouble for that with me. lel

One Piece is the only one of the 'Big 3' that has been stable in its quality as a show. While certainly some arcs are better than others, it hasn't wavered from its overarching goal and has gradually become better. It is a shonen to its core, but a great one at that. However, if one doesn't favor said medium, then one can't fault you for that.

eh, Bleach is pretty good up til the end of Soul Society Arc, if my memory serves me correctly. But then again, it's been over 5 years or something since I read / watched, and my views have changed since then.

I agree, I think it's on it's third and final arc if I'm correct. I still do feel that the first was one of it's better though. Don't quote me on that "3rd" arc thing as well.
