Everybody here gushing about the UBW episode makes me want to leave this party even more! Yes yes, we fought Russians and died for our country. Hurry up with the speech, I have Rin to gush over at home!

 

In Gibraltar it's like "WE WILL NEVER BE SURRENDER TO SPAIN!" Whilst we all chant in Spanish "Aqui no se pesca" (don't fish here!)

 

Political rallies are so funny here. It's the same rehashed speech over and over again. Last year me and my friends started the entire 'aqui no se pesca' chant right in the middle.

 

It's really one big joke and f*ck you to Spain.

 

All the while I drink myself out of melancholy because its' hot, smelly and dirty where all I want to be is in my house with a cup of tea watching Yang Wenli rub his head for the 50th time in one episode.

The anime stores in my city are so lame. I can't find anything I'm ever interested in anymore. Even the conventions are a bit lacking for anything that isn't SnK, Vocaloids, Naruto and Sailor Moon. If it weren't for the internet I'd never be able to find anything I like.

There are a ton of gundams which are admittedly pretty cool, but I haven't collected those in like a decade.

 

At least you have anime stores :crying:

 

You can't even find ANIME here. All you can find is Naruto and Bleach, and even that's sparse.

 

No manga, no nothing.

 

Now England...

The Travelling Man store in England was a place I'm sure you, I, and everybody here in this thread could spend hours inside.

Manga is OK, you can get that at Indigo and then comic book store here has an alrightish selection but for any thing else I'm forced to go online for all my merch needs. Like when I was going to the convention they had hardly anything besides cheap trinkets for PMMM, nothing whatsoever for SSY or Chihayafuru, nothing but DVD's for Clannad and so on. I was pretty disappointed. They had a decent poster section but even with that most of the ones I got was for like ME or Zelda and other games.

Go look the locations, Travelling Man is awesome and a lot cheaper than Forbidden Planet.

 

It's literally a store full of manga and comic books and anime.

 

When I went to Newcastle it was in the centre somewhere. Can't remember.
