She didn't want it. 

 

I would have gotten AIDs if I tapped the girl though. 

And with AIDS I cannot watch all the anime I want to because I'll be dead before I finish.

I get 'indifferent' but dislike? And furthermore calling him a "crappy protagonist?"

I was under the impression that FMAB was adored by 90% of the anime fandom.

 

There's like, 3 people out of 50 that have said they didn't like it. My buddy irl, Dave of Canada (who prefers FMA) and Big_Nick-whatever.

 

And DoC usually prefers darker and bitter-sweet stories, so it's only natural he'd prefer FMA that ends with... well, it ends bitter sweet whereas FMAB is your "good ending."

 

As for Shirou, err... I liked him in Fate, but he's a total f*cking badass in UBW.

 

How do people hate him?

 

Probably because they've only watched the Fate anime, no?

There will always be people who dislike certain characters but 3 of 50 doesn't actually sound so bad.

 

As for Shirou, there are people who dislike him for the DEEN adaptation but there are others who hate him because he is dense, a sexist, not as mature as Kiritsigu from F/Z or even for plot reasons.

 

There are also other reasons but I can't explain those without spoilering.

I actually agree, I also didn't like his attitude towards Saber but hey it makes somewhat sense if you keep reading the VN and he makes up for that with other moments in the VN.

 

But some people dislike him just for that, which is a shame since there is a lot more to the guy.

And sometimes it's the reverse. You see people liking a character and you ask "why?" Then they say "BECAUSE HE KILLS SH*T WITH HIS SWORD!" (Gatts btw.) And I'm like "aannnd?" And they're like "well... that's all to him, right?"
