Possibly due to his impulsive and immature nature along with his pettiness and vindictiveness, which doesn't personally appeal to a certain audience. Sadly people doesn't see that that is all on the surface, and that there is a lot more depth to him than that.

 

Same with Shirou. I can see that his very naive attitude and idealistic pursuit of "saving the world" is not something that would appeal to individuals. Personally I find his moral maturation within the given setting and how it mirrors that of Kiritsugu's to be an interesting take in a story.

 

Oh and his cooking could seduce the most heterosexual male or homosexual female in the world.

 

His cooking alone would make me want a spot in his harem.

I've been friendzoned all my life for now, but hot damn did I get looks from my female friends when they found out I could cook. The kind of look that says "dayum, maybe I should try it out" ... and she's not just meaning the food. Or at least that's what I'm always telling mysself when I get that reaction.

 

 

 

Really, learn to cook. Suave pick-up lines may get you a desperate girl in a disco to spend a night with you. Cooking a real dinner will make women desperate to stay!
