Fun little fact:
Originally FSN was an otome visual novel game (a VN with a female main character with male love interests) but because it was the first commercial VN they made they changed the female main character into a male character and also changed Saber to a female.
As it turns out, that was probably one of the best deccisions they made commercially wise considering every living otaku in Japan loves Saber for some reason.
Yeah, read in an interview this as well. One reason why Nasu finds the Saber/Shirou pairing a bit weird, since he pictures Saber as a male from time to time.
Eeyup, one reason why I like her as a character, since it is not simply used as a mechanic to garner sexual interests.
Also this looks appropriate.
Guess that explains every tsundere actually.
