Fun little fact:

 

Originally FSN was an otome visual novel game (a VN with a female main character with male love interests) but because it was the first commercial VN they made they changed the female main character into a male character and also changed Saber to a female.

 

As it turns out, that was probably one of the best deccisions they made commercially wise considering every living otaku in Japan loves Saber for some reason.

 

Yeah, read in an interview this as well. One reason why Nasu finds the Saber/Shirou pairing a bit weird, since he pictures Saber as a male from time to time.

 

Eeyup, one reason why I like her as a character, since it is not simply used as a mechanic to garner sexual interests.

 

Also this looks appropriate.

Reverse Harem and most especially Harem animes... I tend to avoid these type of animes if i can. Most especially the current animes that are showing right now.

 

I only watch them if..

 

1.) the main character is sure who he/she wants or like among the selection of male&female characters. I find it really annoying when the main chracter is very indecisive and just tend to hurt everyone by not being clear on who he/she wanted <_<. Just end everyone's misery and be done with it ><

 

2.) the story is really really really good. I usually forgive and ignore all my misgivings w/ harem if I like the story.

 

3.) the ecchi parts doesnt take away to the story. I mean you've got to admit a lot of harem/reserve harems nowadays are just full of fanservice that it makes me cringe by just watching it. :wacko:

 

and lasty

 

4.) I am realllllly bored and I wanted something light to watch. I watch them for humor.

 

 

About FSN/FTNZ , its been so long since I've watched the series that i think I would rewatch it just to remember what the hell happened to the story again lol

Yep I know which interview you're talking about. I think he also mentioned that he if he rewrote Saber's route that he would have handled it differently.

Aye, IIRC, it was to add more events into the path, since it is quite dull.

 

There is a reason why UBW and Heaven's Feel usually dominates the polls with a large margin.

Besides who said that being crazy is a bad thing? Imo crazy is a positive character trait and I support it wholeheartedly.

Yeah, I'll probably do one during my break when I got some time filled with gifs, descriptions and everything. I think a proper top 10 requires a lot of context, so I need to put some thought into what my personal standards are and what might make one strong series more enjoyable to watch for me then another strong one. But yeah, I think I will end up doing a proper one in a few weeks.
