Yeah, currently doing that. Hopefully it won't fall into the same pit as the anime. Either it was all White Fox, or the author of the manga series gave them info on how it should end, whoch I hope is not the case.

Yeah, currently doing that. Hopefully it won't fall into the same pit as the anime. Either it was all White Fox, or the author of the manga series gave them info on how it should end, whoch I hope is not the case.

Apparently he gave them notes a few years ago, but it was still preliminary stuff, so a lot changed (as is common when writing a story). You'll notice that certain events were shifted around in the anime timeline, and several were simply removed all together. That's probably due to the notes being different than the final scenarios Takahiro went with. Still, the manga is pretty great in it's own right, and godly compared to the adaptation.

It's at times like this that I'm glad I don't just pick up every new anime of the season, seeing how pretty much everyone in this thread is dissapointed with the anime Akame Ga Kill. 

 

Might read the manga one day though.

The manga is good, I'd recommend it.

I think one of the only ways to make him happier is to post Yang Xiao Long instead of Yang Wenli

Up to episode 17-18 or so the show was decent enough and if it had kept that all the way I'd really not have any larger issues with it. It wouldn't be mentioned often but instead it went and created a train wreck of remarkable status. Ah well.. one is bound to pick one or two shows that end in disappointment at some point!
