Sorry guys, I didn't mean to de-rail this thread. Let me try to get it back on track.
A couple years ago I went to visit an old friend only to realize that in the years I hadn't seen him he had become a weeaboo/otaku. It was like he was a different person. He and his other friends were doing this weird ritualistic dance to this video and I had to leave,
it was getting really weird with them lighting all the candles and with all the nerdy wall scrolls of underage anime sex symbols/action figures.
Of course every entertainment medium has it's fans but I think anime fans are a bit weirder than most, wouldn't you guys agree?

Not true. People attempted to derail this thread by talking about Watchmen and other crap but then I brought back the subject of anime and I saved the thread from collapsing into chaos. I'm proud of that.

Btw, I'd like to hear what you think about SAO, Phi Brain and the other you mentioned.
Personally, none of them reach "great" stuatus in my opinion, but SAO and Phi Brain are especially bad. Would like to hear out a differing opinion though. Haven't watched Accel and Gundam though, so would appreciate any insight.
I plan on reading Berserk, Hunter X Hunter, Toriko, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure eventually it just when a manga has over 200 chapters it takes awhile to catch up to the newest chapters.
I haven't watched much of Jormungand, Phi Brain, or Accel World yet so I don't have a opinion on them yet.
I'm up to episode 12 of Gundam AGE and so far and it's a Gundam series I don't know if it a good Gundam series or a bad Gundam series yet. Of the Gundam's I've seen 0080, Zeta, and 00 were good, Wing was OK, and Seed/Destiny was bad.
I'm up to episode 6 of Lupin the Third and I like it, but Fujiko always being naked is kind of annoying.
Neon Genesis Evangelion the tv series was OK it has some good points and some bad points, I'm loving rebuild of evangelion.
I've never read Watchmen, but I do plan on reading it soon.
Edit: SAO started off great, but the love story is kind of dragging it down. I didn't like the end of the first game and the new plot points specifically the sister and that new evil guy are unnecessary IMO.
I like the two main characters, but almost all the side characters are meh.

I love the new berserk movies. I've only seen the first one so far, but it was great. Really true to both the manga and the anime. On that note, is the second one viewable in the US yet?
