Now the real question is this: Is this more addictive or the lost woods theme from zelda?

 

I'm pretty partial to SMRPG honestly.

So I watched Valley of the Wind.

 

Beautiful film, love stuff like that since I'm very pro-environment/animal at heart.

 

Lived all my life around them.

 

Few convinences that bothered me just a little. Like how the gun-ships when needed too just got blown up with two or three shots.

 

Other than that? Really good.

 

If the Manga is better by far as Geth says then great because I'd love to see more of these characters explored. The Princess of the other Kingdom was 'meh' in my books, but it looked like she had potential. Her subordinate was too good to be true and I'd love to see more of that dude.

 

Nausicaa was all a good protagonist should be. She was a blast. Miyazaki knows how to do good female characters it seems.

 

I preferred it to Princess Monoke for a few reasons, but mostly because there wasn't any forced love conclusion and that the end was very fitting. It's funny how Spirited Away is the Miyazaki favourite for most people but it's the least for me (even though it's also very very good.) Well... I'd put Spirited Away far ahead of Totoro so that's not true.

 

Got Castle in the Sky, Grave of the Fireflies and Laputa: Castle something something (don't remember though the 'Laputa' is funny if you understand spanish.) After that my movie-thon might come to an end. Unless I watch more Mizayaki films or go for Garden of Sinners.

 

Actually might go for Sinners since they're a series. I prefer series over stand alone movies, even if it's just a series of movies, it's still better than that.

 

Guess lots of anime and gaming has spoilt me. It's hard for me to grow attached to movie characters when I'm so used to games that take hours and hours to complete.

Kushana (Torumekia princess) is a lot better in the manga. Also really glad to finally meet someone else who prefers the Nausicaa movie to Princess Mononoke .

And Castle in the Sky = Laputa. So that's 2 movies, not 3. Since it's the holidays, if you want to fill the empty spot with another movie, go with Tokyo Godfathers (unless you've already watched it of course).

There are quite a lot of nice references and "secrets" to be found in the show. Some guy had a collection of all sorts of things, though it was spoiler filled like hell for anyone who hasn't read the VN.

 

But yes, really dig that the producers have taken time to add things like that. Subtle hints are always cool!

Episode 7 in After Story, if my memory serves me right. I will notify when I reach to that point (or whenever I finish it).

 

Damn, always have to resist clicking UBW VN spoilers. Still debating with myself whether I should let the show run its course or just read the VN first.

My personal thoughts on the matter is that you should stay the course until Episode 16, if you aren't invested by the end of that episode then you are probably wasting your time and are best off dropping the show.

Little busters EX? The translation has translated 29712 from 30316 lines (98%) but there is probably still editing so it will still take a while.

 

I would keep watching other anime and just wait with LB for now.
