It's funny because usually I'd be in total agreement here.

 

Maybe it's because I've watched it more than once. I remember the first time having the same trouble with the ending like you. It felt forced a seriously out of place despite everything there to back it up.

 

But somehow, after watching it twice... I dunno, it feels right to me for it to end that way. It certainly wasn't the way Tomoya thought what was going to happen, but it did.

 

The alternate dimensions and stuff really bothered me at first too, I was like, "what is this sh*t?" Apparently Tomoya is the Bear and Ushio was the Girl. It's hard to get your head around things that are left ambiguous for no other reason but for ambiguity's sake.

 

I guess I found a sort of beauty behind Tomoya's choice that cancelled out my own biases. That, plus my huge emotional reaction towards Clannad and... yeah, rationality and logic is hard to find when you're bawling your eyes out of joy when Nagisa turns up alive.

 

Think I'm the only one (apart from Isi maybe) who ever found Clannad that emotional xD

 

Anyway, it doesn't really matter xD now I'm just wondering what you're gonna go for next

 

I'm watching Garden of Sinners, already down 4 movies and liking it lots.

 

It's part of the Nua-verse, no? I certainly feels that way. But I don't think it explains its laws as nearly good as Zero/UBW does. So some things to me are... rather convoluted.

 

Shiki, for once, and her circumstances, don't really add together neatly in my mind. But I'm not sure how many you've watched so I won't say more until I know xD

Well gonna finish Garden of Sinners, up to movie 3. And I agree with you, a lot of things seem a bit convoluted, though I read that this is mainly the case and comes into fruition once you have seen them all. It is recommended apparently that you basically watch the movies one sitting.

 

Don't know what to delve into next after that. I have tons of anime on my list, but nothing in particular that holds my interest. Might put watching anime on hold for awhile and delve into some literary work, now that I finally have time for it.

Can very much understand that train of thought. Been entertaining it myself since yesterday to go minimum on anime for a short while and read a couple of books that I've left hanging far too long. Been watching an unprecedented amount of anime lately so a breather might do good

Now that quite a few episodes of the new Dragon Ball Z Kai have been released, I have decided to start watching that again

Log Horizon had an amusing episode this week that was about Valentine's day. Still waiting for this season to really start gaining momentum and really get going. Next week seems to at least be a solid step in the right direction if the preview is anything to go by.

Aside from Goku and Piccolo learning to drive, that one was amazing. Kai does cut down on alot.

But I don't think anyone feels that strongly about DBZ to complain you're watching. Only problem I've had of late is the obsession they seem to have to continually ruin Bardock.

FF10 was a good game. Fairly underrated and under-appreciated I think. It had one of the darker FF worlds out there. You could basically call its world the cycle of death which is why most of the people in the game are no more then children.

Yeah, it's a pretty damn good game with a bitter-sweet ending which is really cool.

 

'suppose not many people liked Tidus.

 

It also had (from the ones I've played - 7, 8, 9) the most... err... extensive? World of the FF games in terms of lore. Since each game is its own world, they can't really create a Dragon Age universe from all of them, but 10 had that bit more than the others ones I've found.
