Truth be told there may actually be anime out there I like. I'm afraid of liking anime though because if I do I may end up being associated with these lo... I mean anime fans...

It's the same in every anime. There is some great evil threatening the world yada yada yada but then the main characters win because they choose to believe in themselves and their friends!
It makes anime seem like it was made for 12 year olds.
Try watching Cowboy bobop, Black lagoon, or Jormungand you won't find much love and friendship in those shows.

I've heard that a few of the earlier episodes people got a little bored with, especially with the introduction/exploration of new characters but I'd really recommend staying with it. The last few episodes of the first arc (let's say 13-15) are mind blowing.

Yes the last few episodes has some mind-blowing scenes like: The final boss of the first game, and the start of the second game. However how the first game ended, the daughter, the sister, and the new creepy guy are really starting to drag the story down for me.

I haven't bothered watching the Persona 4 anime because I noticed from the first episode that it follows the game's plot but moves at a much faster pace. I would've preferred it if they just made a sequel to the game's plot, and the actual Persona 5 would follow a different cast.
Then again, that is just my opinion.

The Persona 4 anime was really good even if it's an abridged version of the game's story.
It was nice to see Yu's true personality and I like how they did each Social Link.
Now what I'm wondering is how are they going to tell all of Persona 3's story + all the Social Links and the Answer in one movie.
