Truth be told there may actually be anime out there I like. I'm afraid of liking anime though because if I do I may end up being associated with these lo... I mean anime fans...
I haven't bothered watching the Persona 4 anime because I noticed from the first episode that it follows the game's plot but moves at a much faster pace. I would've preferred it if they just made a sequel to the game's plot, and the actual Persona 5 would follow a different cast.
Then again, that is just my opinion.
I would've prefered for a persona 3 anime adaption. But hey at least they are doing a movie of it . For the movie I think the main focus should just be on SEES. i also cant wait to hear more on persona 5

What I want to know is how come in every anime/JRPG the plot is always resolved by the power of love and friendship? It's the same in every anime. There is some great evil threatening the world yada yada yada but then the main characters win because they choose to believe in themselves and their friends!
It makes anime seem like it was made for 12 year olds.
That's become you've only watched anime that is made fr 12 years old boys or girls. Try some seinen anime instead of shonen or shojo.
O MY GOD you FAIL so hard. We're talking about COMICS here, not movies. You can't judge a comic series on a f*cking movie adaption. We all know that the movies sucked.
I liked them.
Well okay, maybe the movies didn't suck, but I think you might agree that the movies aren't as great as the original comics. When a comic is translated into a movie, some of the magic of the original comic will always be lost. It's just impossible to turn a comic into a movie and staying 100% true to the comic. For that, I do not hate the movies, but I do think they're less awesome than the original comics.
So what's the take on JoJo's ED? I've listened to Yes too much to make an opinion on whether it fits or not (as much as I like the music, right now I don't see it as very befitting).

The Persona 4 anime was really good even if it's an abridged version of the game's story.
It was nice to see Yu's true personality and I like how they did each Social Link.
Now what I'm wondering is how are they going to tell all of Persona 3's story + all the Social Links and the Answer in one movie.
Persona 4 was awesome dude. Then again, I never got a chance to play the game, so I guess I wouldn't mind so much about the plot being the same.
Still though, how is that any different from playing the game a second time? A good story is a good story right?

AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!1
IT BURNS!
Not sure if I'm amused or frustrated by the fact that whenever a lot of people refer to cosplay it's always the weebish, terrible cosplays when there are so many impressive, amazing cosplays out there that do the hobby justice. Discussion! Do you guys find that cosplay is viewed a particular way? eg weird, awesome etc?

Don't worry about Mushroom, Fox. He's just trolling. I've seen some very good cosplays out there. Might post pictures later on when I decide to finally get out of my bed. (8 am here)

Well, the images were of terrible cosplayers, so what kind of reaction did you expect?

Sadly yes. Cosplaying still suffers from the stigma that it's only for nerds, geeks and weaboos.
Most people do not realize that cosplayers can be true artists. I mean really, just take a look at this, this is pure art, this could very well be from a movie set really:
I love how this photo is turned into something that looks like a snaphot out of a Zelda movie. And they even got a horse cosplaying as Epona!
And what about this Zelda cosplay:
The details are amazing! This is truly something I find worthy to be labeled as art!
And then of course we also have these incredibly talented people, who go way beyond just cosplaying a video-game or anime character:

And why wouldn't you consider such extraordinary and beautiful craftsmanship to be art, Eroeru? Some cosplay costumes are really well done, they are simply beautiful. Doesn't that make it art in some way? Perhaps fanart?

Hey guys, this is for any Gunslinger Girl fans out there.
I made a youtube video about the "Gunslinger Girl the Live" project. It's the cast of the project. If you don't know what Gunslinger Girl is or the project, let me break it down for you:
Gunslinger Girl the Live is a live action fan film based on the Gunslinger Girl anime. Set in Italy, Gunslinger Girl follows the girls of the Social Welfare Agency. The Agency rescues terminally ill young orphan girls and turns them into emotionless killing machines. Brainwashed by the organization, the girls are outfitted with advanced cybernetics and paired with adult male handlers who train and prepare them for missions. These pairings are called Fratellos.
