Heh, quite funny though, if you visit the unofficial Type Moon's forum, if you are to be seen in a good light in the Fate section you have to accept Sakura as best Fate girl, Heaven's Feel as the bible, hate Saber and love Shirou. Oh, and Fate/Zero sucks and is bad. That last one is important.

Good to know so i'll never have to go there. The only thing I knew about BL before your post was that drama that happened when someone did a quick machine translation of F/HA.

She is called Shielder, which originally was a class considered for Fate/Stay Night but got scrapped at the last second. She was meant to serve as "The Servant of the Shield" which is a contrast to Saber who is "A Servant of the Sword" and would have been a rival for Saber within the story. Her role would have been similar to that of Gilgamesh, from what I remember. 

 

And yes, Lancer as Caster looks very intriguing. There is also a character from Apocrypha in the video (along side Joan of Arc that is), which made me very excited. It is an online RPG, but Nasu has stated in an interview that it will have a complete story, and that there would be choices to make in the game (a bit similar to VN from what I've gathered). Anyway, hopefully it turns out great and we get an english translation in the future.

Mostly stems from the people being sick of hearing how Zero is better than Stay Night, which the people can not tolerate. Which is just silly, since they are both great, but in different ways. It is all a matter of preference, I find.

Both are frickin' awesome, which is great, because you don't find many prequels that can match the main series in quality.

 

Well from what I've gathered, it is an obnoxious behavior that stems from them seeing that people think "the pupil has surpassed its master" when it comes to Zero and Stay Night, which they hate when fans who haven't read the VN and only seen the horrible Deen adaptation of Stay Night starts claiming so (which I can understand to a certain degree. I as well get furious when people say Stay Night is bad).

 

But as I said, they are a bunch of hipsters.

People certainly like to limit themselves, b/c gods be willing to enjoy both. Though since their actions mostly revolve around other people's prejudice, I can understand their anger, though they aren't being any more mature about it.

While I like both F/Z and F/SN myself seeing people who only watched F/Z and F/SN DEEN say that F/Z is a masterpiece that only mature people can enjoy and people who enjoy or prefer FSN are little children always triggers something in me.
