It is funny, that was Zeros theme yet  except for Gil(and even this can be heavily debated), all the servants(even Saber as it depends who is her master) where weaker then the servants in Stay Night XD.

 

Same with the masters.

 

True, and which is something that has boggled my mind. We have experienced magus' in Zero and inexperienced kids in Stay Night, yet somehow the characters in Zero summon more "weaker" servants (which are powerful without  a doubt, but not compared to Stay Night). 

 

Not sure if it was explained in some capacity in the VN, but I had some thoughts about it being b/c of the small time gap between the War and at what state it left in previous war would somehow effect why it summons more powerful servants--to finally become "completed" since it wasn't in the previous War.

Most masters are explained like Rin is simply the product of long and careful breading in the bloodline hence why she can pretty much outperform all masters but Kotomine who would still be a big threat for her, but she could beat him if she was well prepared.

 

I can't talk to much about Shirou since big spoilers, but Nasu has said he is equal to Kiri which makes sense since both are weak magus but powerful spellcasters(combat) and one can easily deduce that once Shirou masters his craft he would succeed Kiri.

To me, it seems pretty much the entire cast from Zero is stronger with the obvious exception that is Saber.

 

F/Z's Rider, Archer, Lancer and Berserker give me the impression to be on an entirely different level than their F/SN counterparts, F/Z's Assassin was pretty weak, yeah, but the F/SN one wasn't doing much more than have two major appearances and was little more than a roadblock to Saber. And that insane F/Z Caster was at least equal to the F/SN Caster.

And that insane F/Z Caster was at least equal to the F/SN Caster.

Bluebeard is not close to Caster AT all. He is in the wrong container, the only reason he was even able to fight was because of his tome, once his tome is destroyed he is useless, this is not the case with Caster. She  is from a divine period, her magic is on a whole new level to the point that even the strongest magus like Ciel could not defeat her unless she was able to get relics from the church to help.

 

Zeros Berserker is horrible. Berserker can only be damaged by A(I believe A+) attacks, Zero Berserker can only spawn weapons that are D, thus his NP is completely and utterly useless against Berserkers God Hand, he would be lucky to even claim one life.

 

As for Gil I will not comment on Gil and Archer because you will simply see that in April, but Gil is clearly weaker then Archer.

 

Cu fought all 6 of Stay Nights servants, survived and observed them. He was also able to stand up to Archer when they have a real fight. Also as Cu he also has his runes which can burn down a whole building. Zeros Lancer on the other hand had issues with Saber. So yeah.....

 

As for Rider, no way. First Rider has mythic eyes of petrifaction and has two types of bounded fields at her disposable which are EXTREMELY dangerous, her Bellerophon would just be another Ea incident if used against Ionioii Hetairoi.

 

As for Assassin, do note like Bluebeard, Kojirou is in the wrong container and is also a very abnormal servant as explained in UBW.  True Assassin on the other hand is a real assassin. Both are stronger then Zeros assassin in combat(Kojirou) and stealth(True).

FSN rider could easily defeat FZ rider but if I tell you how I would have to spoil her identity.

FSN lancer only has to use his NP on FZ lancer and he would be done for.

FSN Berserker could easily kill FZ berserker because of superior stats and and his NP. Also Illya doesn't cough blood when she lets Berserkers fight.

 

Archer is a special case because of spoilers

 

Assasin I don't know but FSN Caster wouldn't allow FZ Caster to do what he did in FZ.

Cu is extremely powerful when someone can fight ALL 6 servants, survive and observe them. That's very telling. Once he starts using his runes and NP he just becomes even more dangerous.

I think people keep saying that because if Siki fought Shirou they would both self destruct, since Shirou can kill some servants(even though it's a very unique case) people think IF IT'S A TIE HE CAN KILL THEM TOO
