STOP RECOMMENDING ME GOOD THINGS I'LL LIKE!
For once I'd like to watch something you guys recommend to me, only for me to hate it. Then I can continually rub it in your face.
Spice And Wolf isn't that. I love it.

Holo is adorable.

High school of the dead, there.
I already watched HOTD. Years ago.
I'm indifferent towards it.
Well fine.
I hated Parasyte, so try that one.
I also watched something called Brave 10... I can barely remember anything that happened, so I'm pretty sure that might work also.
Wait why would you want that?
Just someday. Vengeance!

Puni Puni Poemy. Though I guess it can't really be seen as a recommendation considering the context.
I'd never recommend it to anyone anyway.
Mmmm, something I'd recommend but that there's a good chance someone would end up disliking it.
Maaaayyybe Angel's Egg, or "Lupin the Third : A Woman Named Fujiko Mine" (Lupin the Third - Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna)
Edit:
I know! Dead Leaves! (50 minute movie, so not a big loss whether one likes it or not)
Be however warned that it's somewhat NSFW. Also not safe for human eyeballs.
Keep in mind, it has to be considered good.
Otherwise you're asking me to watch crap.
Like Gotham. Gotham is the worst TV show I have ever seen.
I wouldn't recommend anyone that. I'd recommend something I like. Like Arrow, or Community.
Well the 3 serious recommendations (not Puni Puni Poemy) in my earlier post are considered good by some people. I think. I enjoyed them for the most part. Maybe.
I'll look into them.

Just remember, Holo is my Waifu. ![]()
Also, I recommend Noragami. It's about a forgotten God that tries to regain followers.

Regardless I still wish to pet her silky tail.

The 2nd season of GITS is definitely more an aimless drifting and dialogue into various sorts of topics. If I'm not mistaken they literally spend one full episode as a kind of News hour type of episode, it's just a bunch of people talking around a table for the entire thing.
The 1st season is more typical anime plot/cop kind of show.
Personally there are things there that I'm not really a fan of in all this... but if you are motivated by that part over the action you would probably like the 2nd season more, although the first episode is mostly just a straight action situation.
Hardly... in fact, what you've described there is exactly what happens in Season One, where everybody discusses the Laughing Man Case online.
Not only does Season 2 have far more focus on the narrative it wants to tell, but also manages to make some major development and characterisations steps for Motoko.
Aimless? Well that sounds discouraging.
Well while I have problems with the first season of GitS, I wouldn't go as far as call it a typical cop show, since its portrayal on socioeconomics and corporate politics that gets a large focus in the show are great and not something that gets tackled so often in cop shows (and when they do, it is usually just meh or crap from the shows that I've seen).
Well any which way, I'll see for myself once I get into 2nd GiG.
Note:
Man, I open my mouth to soon.
Let me explain by what I mean by "Marxism" and "Capitalism." Aside from international affairs and lots of talk about foreign policies, the series takes a close look at class inequality and relies heavily on refugees to do this.
The Stand Alone Complex is handled via the manipulation of data and the state instead of a spontaneous "social revolution" of sorts as it was with the Laughing Man.
F*ck.
I wish I'd talk to you right after I watched it because believe or not I read A LOT about GitS' themes and philosophy during my rewatch since I was hooked on it.
So right now, though it's still there, I can't really give you any sort of coherent evaluation on the topics it covers astutely or obtusely.
All I can say in good ol' fashion sim is that it's some good sh*t, covers geopolitics and Marxism (FOR SURE,) capitalism (sort of) and Motoko's ass is shown less but she's even sexier.
Arise isn't really worth it IMO, unless you really have nothing better to watch. But you do. Have you watched Serial Experiments Lain yet? Kino's Journey? Mushishi? The Twelve Kingdoms? Azumanga Daioh? Excel Saga? Nodame Cantabile? Natsume Yuujinchou?
If you watch GitS Arise before any of those, I'm not talking to you anymore.
Ok that's a lie. I'll still be telling you that you've got better things to do than watch GitS Arise. I'd say even rewatching S.A.C. is probably better.
I'm probably sounding harsher than I ought to be. It's not really terrible, but it's just unremarkable overall.
Haha, Mushishi is high on my to do list ;-)
Arise isn't.
I didn't even consider it until seeing that trailer up.
Might give it an episode or two and see whether it will change my mind about the show. I can certainly see the appeal, but apparently it is not something that holds my interest at the moment. Well I'm not that keen on starting something and not finishing it, specifically when it is something good, so we'll see.
I sort of understand... I mean, I LOVE PMMM and SSY, they're marvelous shows, but they don't click as well with me as... let's say, LOTGH.
They're very different for different reasons, but I think it comes down to taste.
But I appreciate that you know that :-)
Too many people dismiss an anime as bad because it doesn't suit their tastes.
Unless it's Guilty Crown.
Don't watch that Chewin.
Ever.

As long as that's all you wish to do ![]()
With a little encouragement and direction from Mr. No Touch, I could write a few novels depicting all the stuff that I'd do with Holo and let me tell you, anything short of an instant ban and a lawsuit (someone would end up that offended) would be a miracle.

I'll put in a word so maybe some magical encouragement will be headed your way

Suddenly realized I want to see Godoka in a Death Battle with someone capable
How bad was the first season of Tokyo ghoul? So bad Ishida intervened and made the team diverge from the manga and do the alternate story. You don't really that often XD

Better love story than Twilight and 50 shades of grey combined.
Finished Spice and Wolf Season 1.
It was good.

Season 2 is even better, the stakes get raised and you might discover that things aren't as clear cut as they seem. It's such a great show.
Also, Vroom Vroom has decided to make a concession with you; you can have Japanese speaking Holo as long as Vroom Vroom gets English speaking Holo. ![]()
By the way, the female lead in Noragami also has a tail, well sort of (you'll see what I mean if you watch that next).
I'll get onto Season 2 soon.
Very excited.
Hey Vroom. You got no worries. No concessions needed.
Pretty much completely holds sway of my affections...Unless RWBY Volume 3 is completely terrible and I drop it and never acknowledge it or her again.

As far as I'm concerned English speaking Holo is the only Holo

Shh...
You'll make Clones realize that I wasn't really giving him any sort of concession ![]()
But yeah, I couldn't imagine (nor would I want to) anyone else voicing Holo in place of Brina. She nailed the role and did the character justice. It is rare that I come across a voice that meshes so well with a character's design and personality.
Brina deserves some awards for her superb voicing acting of Holo.
I know it will never happen but I really want a season 3, same voice actors or bust.
Ugh, I really need to track down the light novels and find out how it ends.

@ Clones:
I'll stop pestering you about it after this post, but I think that you should really give Noragami a chance after Spice and Wolf.
I don't know if there is a dub or not, but the sub was fantastic.
The reason I decided to make this post is because I wanted to show you some of the artwork and the style (i enjoy the style), I thought that it might help you decide.
I found the plot to be unique as well.

I'll check it out.
It's either that, or I listen to my inner pervert and give Rosario + Vampire a try.
