But it does need Iggy.

I hope we get another Engrish classic from Joseph when Iggy comes out.
Iggy is the best 6th ranger.
Finished Mekakucity actors. It was great unique experience but very little else. The actual plotline is kinda meh.

Yupp, a mess of a show and story but at least the idea behind it was cool
Overall pretty meh yeah, bonus points for looking exactly like Monogatari tho.
I still need to watch Monogatari. It scares me though.

Monogatari is fantastically weird.
And bro, stop watching crappy shows!
At least you're watching JoJo now.
So your soul is saved ![]()

It's Joseph, There has to be epic engrish. If I don't hear his OH MAH GOD! in this season I'm boycotting all future JoJo shows.

I want a "mother f*cker" if they can get away with it.
Noragami is a good show. Hardly anything original, but it manages to grasp the fundamentals of its themes and characters within the narrative, which makes the show enjoyable and quite funny (if the humor is to your personal liking). And it is only 12 episodes, so yeah.

It certainly is filled with some questionable aspects, but if you can get around those, you'll see that it is quite great in using various techniques as an auxiliary to complement the story. The show is also a character study--in which the characters are the focal point and it is they who build the story--which is an easy hit and miss facet since if you don't like said character that the episode / arc focuses on, you might easily get bored (especially if the plot is nothing major).

I have often heard it's much deeper than the fanservice makes it seem.
It is, but it is easy to be prejudiced about certain factors since the show is heavy on the fan service part. A certain character pretty much exist only to fill a certain fetish, and it is only until Monogatari 2nd Season that she turns into a proper character.
But you'll see whether or not the series is to your liking or not.
Well I'm planning on watching either monogatari or Jojo after LOTGH which is after Gintama so I suppose I might see then.
Really only thing I am still disappointed is that Tomokazu didn't reprise his role as Joseph.

It's not afraid to be many things. I still need to watch Second Seasons and it's something I've wanted to do for a while now. Bakemonogatari managed to impress me a great deal in how it managed to mix superficial and silly stuff with rather complicated and to an extent heavy subjects.

Same here, but this VA is cool too :-)
@Liam
Yeah, the fanservice and comedy work in well with the characterisation and character development as well as themes played throughout the arcs. It's pretty great.
It's just done in a very weird Shaft-like fashion, the fluff and fanservice really isn't anything out of this world if you've seen other fanservice-y stuff.
Apart from that toothbrush scene.
That scene is artistic genius.

MOAR JOJOOOO
Finally finished Fate/Zero. Excellent stuff. Stay Night was already good, but Zero really raised the bar on this one. Now I have to hope the Fate/Unlimited Blades Work (the series, not the movie, I've been told to stay clear of that one) can live up to that.
Also, nekkid Gil siitting on rubble and still looking like he's throning with all the confidence that the rubble is all his. God damn, that guy's got SWAG!

More like a towel and lots of dettol for my furniture.
Quite the differences between F/SN and F/SN UBW. Intriguing to see a different iteration of the events, only helped by the insight given from the prequel. I will take pleasure from all the subtle differences if the rest of the series is going like the first (double) episode.
