First episode of GitS 2nd GiG and it is already off to a solid start.
Pulling the act of terrorism as focal point in the individual episode, it managed to properly convey it on a sociopolitical level; taking into account China and Japan's role as an administrative division specifically regarding taxation and refugee movements and how it intertwined to the terrorists, while simultaneously portraying Section 9's role as special forces and what state they were in due to the consequences that took place during the previous season.
Yup, I am certain I'm gonna enjoy this season immensely.

Hey if I have to read novels to get up to date with Date a Live, so be it. Through there's still chances of that getting another season.
Also a lot of opportunities for OVA's as in a seasons worth if they do things right.

In that case, I'll actually recommend the dub. The likes of Crispin Freeman, Steve Blum, Yuri Lowenthal, Kari Whalgren, Bosch etc is in it.. they do an excellent job as their respective characters. I don't mind dealing with the Japanese version for now though.

Incidentally, the character Shinra(the one Lowenthal voices in the dub) makes me think of Mr Stewart due to his whackiness and insistence on constantly wearing a gas mask wherever and whenver he goes.
