Really I was curious and watched episode 1 of season 2 and it's just so bad it's funny at this point.
Even a new story can't save this incompetent team. Just because the art is pretty is not enough.
Mkay, so the annoying protagonist gets tied to a chair and tortured for several hours, and then he turns into a white haired emo and kicks everyone's ass. Character development like a boss.

So! Finnished the first episode of Psycho-Pass Extended Edition.
The setting appeals to me. The system that has data on everyone, their mental health and condition is both intriquing and terrifying. How it determines wether you're a criminal or not is quite disturbing and reminds me of Captain America 2, where Hydra developed an algorithm that could determine through data and genetics as well wether certain people would pose a threat or not.
Who knows wether the continuing digitalization in our world will lead to something like that in the future.
I also found out that Gen Urobuchi is behind this anime, so I'm ready to get my heart ripped out
Be prepared to fall in love with this hunk of man.
