There's actually plenty of reason to loathe Holo. She is manipulative and quite selfish at times, and takes her own self interests above others easily (even when having traveled with Lawrence for quite some time). She likes to mock people, to the point she finds great pleasure in it. She is also stubborn to the extreme and gets easily jelous of the most minor of things.

Of course, this is all part of her character as a deity which fits her background, but plenty of times while reading the light novels I sympathize with Lawrence wanting to kick Holo out of the cart or throw her out of a window.

Selfish isn't inherently bad you know.. putting someone or something else before your own needs can be pretty damaging.

Yar, waiting for Yurikuma Arashi to get a ways in before I get to it. For those that haven't watched anything Ikuhara created, it comes with the same sort of... joy and dread that an Urobuchi series does.




Now everyone go watch Utena so I can roll around and be happy.

 

 

Shame I can't find any videos with the proper animation playing  but now it's still going to be stuck in my head all day. I'll spare the raging fangirlism trying to come out but yeah, Urobuchi throws a lot of Utena nods into PMMM and much like the latter, Utena's OP takes on a different sort of brain space once you've seen the series. There's a lot I want to say here but I'll save it in case anyone does decide to watch it. Isi will just have to put up with it cause I swayed him into checking it out last year.
