Shame I can't find any videos with the proper animation playing but now it's still going to be stuck in my head all day.
I'll spare the raging fangirlism trying to come out but yeah, Urobuchi throws a lot of Utena nods into PMMM and much like the latter, Utena's OP takes on a different sort of brain space once you've seen the series. There's a lot I want to say here but I'll save it in case anyone does decide to watch it. Isi will just have to put up with it cause I swayed him into checking it out last year.

OH so it was you! I randomly brought it up some time ago and I wasn't sure if everyone had seen it or no one had seen it, but at least Isichar had seen it and I don't remember what was discussed but it's interesting, I didn't know it was considered a magical girl for instance.

@Kefka: Yusss. I tend to pop up and regularly poke about trying to get people to watch it. What's funny about it being considered a magical girl series (to me at least) is that I initially held off watching it cause I figured "Well I've seen a bunch of magical girl series already, so I don't really need to give it priority." Finally sat down to watch it around six years ago, and now I don't shut up about it.
