Guys, I love Japan. I take back everything I said about egoistic Japan hogging all the good things.
Yesterday, I mentioned my recent VN plight to one of my student buddies (she's japanese) and today she came up and just shoved me an USB stick with the Realta Nua version (the one with the three routes seperate) Fate/Stay Night in the hands, saying it's a late christmas present. Applied the English patch you guys had linked in here and violá, I CAN NOW READ THE VN!!!
Woohoo.
Now I have to find a way to repay her. Thinking about taking her out to our Ramen bar and treat her some bigass bowl of soup'y thank you.

Anyway.
Finished Log Horizon.
Had a blast with it, and I can't say that there's anything really wrong with the anime either. Not that it's flawless, but the "issues" that come up never really strike me as something that's glaring or needs to be fixed in the next season.
The only problem I have with the entire thing is its loli harem BS that's going on around Shirou. But the good thing about that is that the anime doesn't really focus too much on it.
The anime does a bit of everything which makes it a really kick-ass well-rounded shounen with great characters.
Hopefully next season focuses a bit more on the other guild masters too. But gotta say, I love where they went with Crusty.
Will wait for Season 2 to be completed before heading into that one.
Dunno what to watch next.
Might just go with my original LOTGH rewatch plan.

There's a show called Tytania which IIRC is written by the same guy who wrote LOGH, which bares striking resemblance to it. Might be worth the watch.

I won't make the mistake to compare it to LOTGH. I doubt even Tanaka went into that thinking "oh, this will make a great spiritual successor to LOTGH."
Or maybe it's f*cking brilliant!
