Gotta say tho. FMA: Brotherhood is probably one of the few animes that actually has a better english dub than sub imo. The only other case I can think of is Yu yu Hakusho

It would save him quite a few chapters. Then again, something new has to be created so Ichigo can regain the powers he seems to lose at every arc. He just needs to stop and move on to something else. This is just getting sad.

Anybody here ever seen Case Closed? Anime show I was into when I was younger, got back into it recently after discovering that the Japanese version (Detective Conan) of it has more seasons than the Simpsons. Very interesting if you're a fan of stuff like crime-dramas and such, the show is primarily murder mysteries.

So i've been watching Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo and I actually like it quite a bit so far. He humor really works for me. It's only 4 episodes so far but it's enough to have grabbed my attention fully.

Ichigo is propably the most screwed over protagonist in shonen history.
For nearly the entire series, he has either been unwittingly manipulated, or mindf**ked.
I mean, for what, 400+ chapters everything Ichigo did was in the PALM OF MY HAND of Aizen. And in the very next arc, Ginjo and SS takes turn using Ichigo for their own ends, and Ichigos psyche is destroyed in a way that would make Aizen proud. And here we are again.
You know, at the end of the day, I think his final fight against Aizen and the one chapter where he retrieved Ginjos corpse are about the only times in the entire series where Ichigo is on top of things, and isn't serving some hidden agenda.

Arlong arc - Luffy's speech would turn from "I can't navigate/fight with swords/lie" to "I couldn't navigate/fight with swords/lie, but I can now because shut up"
Alabasta arc - Luffy's grandfather was from Alabasta. The battle become all about him. Vivi becomes an obscure character in the background

I don't really mind Ichigo getting screwed over constantly. I always thought Kubo made Ichigo to describe his life. The guy had a mental breakdown, after all. The whole story seems to be about battling your personal demons while simultaneously battling a corrupt and lie filled world. Even when it seems you won or found a true friend, it's just another lie that leads to another battle. An endless cycle.

Really you are overthinking the series, It stop being about battling your personal demons when the SS arc happened.

lol yeah Ichigo is mind f*cked quite a bit. oh well never really cared for ichigo much anyway. The Captains are cooler than ichigo anyway
